I love them. They have been so good and they listen to your needs. They know me by my name. They are the best. I have seen other doctors in their line of work and they just didn't listen.

Hi folks! Ok let me tell you how awesome Beaches Coastal Spine and Pain is! I have gone to different pain management dr prior. (Won’t give names) but I was with him for 10 months and nothing was happening accept pushing so many pills on me and I had never really gotten a clear diagnosis. So I went to my PCP and he gave me Dr. Formoso. A sweet caring intelligent soft spoken man who LISTENED to me! He immediately saw I was not doing well with pill narcotics. He switched me to a Butrans Patch that didn’t make me “feel funny” and worked more than any pill could. He could see I was depressed and in so much pain. He order up MRIs right away because of my medical history. Boy we found out some things. But it was the right step in the right direction. We began the usual things insurance wants to do like PT. After going through this with little results we got to business. We had to make insurance happy first. My insurance even tried to deny certain procedures that they had no merit doing. Formoso fought for me. Here I am a year later and life is almost normal again. This man gave my family and I our lives back. I went from being a grouchy hermit mommy to gardening in a year! Folks.this takes time. Do not be discouraged. Keep focusing on the goal. Don’t blame the practice for insurance hurdles. They staff are absolutely wonderful from Cheryl at front desk to Jeff the PA. The referral and insurance gal and all the nurses. Hillary in PT is great too! The facility is ALWAYS clean. And I’ve never had to wait more than 25 minutes in waiting. Formoso is the man you want to see if you are looking for real solutions for your situation.

I bring my mother here every 2 or 3 months. I'd say I have been there with her eight or nine times all together so far. Only one time has there ever been an issue, they took her into an exam room and I'm pretty sure they just kind of forgot she was in there. We were in the waiting room maybe 5 minutes before they called her back and then she just sat back there for 2 hours.

I was thinking they were just doing some sort of tests or exams on Hearne and think much of it and she came out and told me what happened, so I felt terrible for not asking about her earlier.

Other than that though she loves the staff here, and most of them do seem very sweet and polite. And she seems to really like the doctor she sees there, can't think of his name right now though.

But she is happy there, and it's easy for me to get her in and out of there and the parking lot is big and spacious, well secured and well-kept. Much much better than the pain center I was taking her to before that's for sure.

Dr. Formoso does NOT treat patients on an individual basis! He was chosen due to working with me and trying different pain medications and ways to dispense those medications. We finally found what worked for me and the past few years have been SO much better. Unfortunately I AM NOT a candidate for a morphine pump that this young doctor is forcing ALL patients to have, otherwise YOU GET NOTHING! He immediately sent a letter to my psychiatrist stating I could not be prescribed medication anymore (my psychiatrist informed me of Dr. Formosa's letter, apologized, and regretfully took me off the Xanax I have been taken for several years) This is extremely cruel in my opinion. Every patient is NOT the same. If you found what works, Why change it? He stated due to "laws" recently but I have done my research and that is simply not true. I am in pain constantly now and WILL be obtaining a new PAIN MANAGEMENT doctor as well as other things. Treating a long-term patient (who has not had ANY problems and followed directions exactly) like this is not only wrong, insincere, but very cruel as well.

I have been going to this location for about 9 months. I was seeing Dr Massa which I liked and never had to wait but a few minutes. Same when I went to East Park office, for procedure, never waited very long.
I Am now seeing a different Dr and hope my wait time won't be any longer
Very pleased with coastal spine and therapy also.
