Resort Coconut Inn reviews
15Magical place, so peaceful. Staff only there when you need them, no more no less. Perfect.
Fabulous! We had a wonderful stay! We are local to the Tampa area and I was looking for a nice place for a getaway with my wife. We have always loved Pass-A-Grille beach! We definitely found a great spot at the Coconut Inn. The inn has a super cute beach vibe and the rooms and the pool are super clean. Dedicated parking is definitely a plus. We kept our beach stuff in the car and just grabbed it on the very short one block walk to the beach. I highly recommend and am already planning a return trip!
Our stay was beyond perfect, from the hospitality of the owners/staff, to the cleanliness of our room, the amenities that were included like the bikes/coolers/beach chairs and umbrellas/even fishing gear. Everything we needed was within walking distance and if it wasn’t they have a golf cart to get you around if needed. Baxter (the resort cat) was my favorite! Pass a Grille is a great place for a quiet, relaxing vacation and the coconut inn just seals the deal on it. Very pleased with our entire stay and will def be back in the near future.
Stayed here with the wife and kid and we loved it. Super friendly staff and literally right next to the beach. Can't beat it. The rooms are tiny and the bathroom is made for midgets but I'll take that any day for a clean room, amazing air conditioning, and location on the beach. We would stay here again.
Really loved this place! I am a native Floridian who now lives in the UK and so I loved the Fla decor. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Whilst the accommodation is a little on the small side it is fully equipped and extremely clean and well kept. The beds are comfortable too. The bikes are great as is the beach chairs and other equipment available. The location is fabulous and the resident cat is charming! We fell in love with him! We will definitely stay again!
My favorite inn in Pass-a-Grille! Really nice rooms, great location and you can easily walk across the street to the beach. Then, they have a nice hose to use and some great bikes that are complimentary to use. Also, DOG-FRIENDLY! This is very tough to find in the area, so this is huge. There is a dog beach across the street, just a few blocks down. Anyway, a great place to stay!
I loved this place from the moment we arrived! I went with two friends for a girls weekend.we all stayed in one king room with an expandable chair. We could've used a little more space but we were fine! Bathroom is extremely small but the 3 of us made due. Loved the outdoor kitchen and actually made dinner there 2 out of the 4 nights we stayed. I have been trying to get back there since my trip last October with my husband! We are finally booked for our anniversary in September and I cannot wait for him to see how adorable this place is! If you want a big luxurious hotel this is not the place but if you want a quaint, clean, quiet retreat with everything you need to relax and enjoy with friends or family, THIS IS THE PLACE for you!
My daughters and I had a wonderful stay, we will absolutely be back! The location is perfect, steps away from the beach but tucked away enough for a peaceful getaway. We appreciated all the beach supplies available for us to utilize for our stay. There were beach carts, chairs, umbrellas, and more! It was the small details that also stood out, like a sound machine if needed. Just loved the Coconut Inn and I hope to be back soon!
This is the place where they have thought of everything you need for a relaxing vacation.
Small boutique hotel in Pass-a-grille. Quaint & quiet neighborhood, 1 block to Gulf/beach, walking to restaurants & shops, clean, beautiful property & grounds, room #8 has lots of windows, bright & airy, can see a peek at the Gulf from the room, good AC, ceiling fan, kitchen area, fridge, everything needed, hairdryer. Property has a small pool & a great outdoor grill area, lots of beach chairs & toys to borrow, bicycles were in pretty good condition, parking, nice neighborhood to bike around, a couple of kayaks to borrow too.
But the mattress was so so uncomfortable! If it is replaced then true perfection. The room is a good size but the bathroom is tiny with no elbow room. Good for shorties like me.
Staff was on site during the day & helpful & friendly.
Loved so much and would definitely return here often if the mattress is changed.
I’m a Floridian and yet Maggie’s Coconut Inn brought all the fantasy and magic of this blissful paradise. The staff were so nice and the accommodations purr-fect!
Best hotel in pass a grille. It seems small but it is super clean, super homey, and the staff is so kind and considerate. The place is decorated beautifully. Well done. I also love the responses to the very few bad reviews - love the sass
We absolutely LOVED Coconut Inn. We stayed in this Inn twice (rooms 2 and 5) and both times it was absolutely perfect. It's on small PassAGrille island and you can walk to everything. The accommodations are basic and no-frills but quaint and cozy and perfect for what we were looking for. We loved the bikes! Can't wait to go back.
We’ve stayed for a week two years in a row. The staff is unbelievably helpful, and accommodating. We love this place! Want to thank Maggie for helping us have such a great time.
Great stay in Pass-A-Grille at the Coconut Inn. We loved the small, quaint hotel and the staff was very nice and accommodating. They texted us around 2pm of our check in day letting us know the room was ready, which was really nice. The beach is right across the street and there is a rental service available for $30 for 2 chairs and an umbrella, which makes it so nice to not have to bring very much with you to the beach! The pool is small, but the perfect temperature to cool you off from the sun! So refreshing! The hotel offers beach cruisers to borrow as well as beach gear like chairs, kayaks, beach toys, etc. Right down the road are a few restaurants and shopping. We ate at The Brass Monkey for lunch and it was pretty good, the view was amazing from the outside patio. We also really loved the ice cream shop, Paradise Sweets. Amazing ice cream and the nicest staff! We were a 20 minute drive to downtown St. Pete and lots of great restaurants and shopping. We enjoyed Datz for brunch and the Salvador Dali museum. Would definitely stay here again!
Perfect space inside and out, convenient to all of PAG! Maggie and crew so friendly and helpful.feels like family, in a good way! Especially loved the outside sitting areas to grab fresh air, sunshine and watch the people. Beautiful beach sunsets just a block away!
