I met with John to go over different options for a new pool build and he was extremely professional, knowledgeable and quite accommodating since he met me in the office on a Sunday! No one does that anymore so you definitely get that old school experience from him. I had closing date issues, illness etc that made me miss a few appointments but John still squeezed me in no matter what and had follow up every time. He has great relationships with lenders and extensive knowledge on every aspect of the build. I met with 3 other pool companies prior to Cody pools and John and without question-this us my guy! Highly recommend him.

Cody Pools took my ugly pool and made it beautiful. They are very people oriented and reacted to all my inquires in a fast and effecient manner. Thank you Jay Masher, Rob Worley, Brian Masher and Tony and Amanda Brown for an exceptional experience. I would recommend this company to anyone needing a pool refurbish. They were all great to work with. Thank you Cody Pools for a job well done.

Our pool was completed 2 weeks ago. Steve Geiger was great with the design process. I will say there were quite a few delays in construction and issues with subcontractors leaving trash in the yard and not showing up when we were told, but our project manager Todd Borsodi got it done and was great to work with. The end result is a beautiful pool. We would like to thank Steve and Todd for their continued communication throughout the construction process. Several people told us we were in good hands with Steve and Todd and that proved to be true.

Do not use this company.
We are officially at the one year mark and the end is no where in sight.
We’ve been lucky to have someone working on the pool every 6-8 weeks.
The PMs are overextended which causes for unending delays, so it's not their fault.
Our sales rep literally went completely dark until (shocker), he wanted more money from us that wasn't in the contract.

Todd was an exceptional project manager for us. He’s extremely responsive and very personal. He always goes the extra mile - early morning or late evenings. He was honest and made sure we knew what to expect. The reality is, it took time and there were delays that couldn’t be controlled but communication through all of it really made a difference. Todd is clearly organized and spent a lot of time with us. We owe him our gratitude on so many levels.
We consider Todd a friend now and welcome him at our dinner table.

Larry was our sales guy, he was responsive and knowledgeable. He even came to our home the day after he had surgery.

We love our pool, it’s beautiful and has some really neat character to it.

John was amazing! Loved working with him. He was very patient. We were back and forth for 3 month. He treated us with the same respect, kindness and patience. Love the design of our pool. Super excited. I highly recommend this Compnay. Very professional.

Shawn Gordon was our salesman and designer for our pool and we could not have been happier with him throughout the process. He was extremely informative, helpful throughout the process and put zero pressure on us throughout the design and contract process. We signed to have Cody Pools build out our pool and it has now been passed over to the project manager and construction team now that our permit has been approved. We will keep you updated on the process, but so far so good from Cody Pools and Shawn especially.

Since the construction of my pool by this company a few years back there has been occasions that I needed to call the office for help or advice and Emma has always been very professional, courteous, and helpful regardless of the issue. Emma goes out of her way for 5 STAR service

My wife and I met with John Lalley on a short notice and he accommodated us on a Sunday afternoon. We designed an amazing pool project that includes a hot tub and outdoor kitchen it is amazing.

We worked with Cody/Challenger Pools on a pool/lanai renovation project. It was a great experience and probably the best investment we made in our home. Like most industries in a COVID world finding good people to work is a challenge however we weren't impacted. Were there project delays? Absolutely but some due to material and some due to the unknowns that surfaced in a 1967 property out of their control. Jay and team worked with us on expansions we wanted, and they met our standards and with the construction our project manager, Rob, kept us in the loop step by step. Workers were all very professional. I would recommend to anyone that is thinking about installing or renovating a pool to use them. Thanks again for the experience that our family will have using this pool. We spend more time in our outdoor space now than we do inside the house. I highly recommend them whether you are doing an existing pool renovation or new installation.

I would look at all reviews on Yelp. They are more in line with the actual experience with this company. We signed our contract in May of 2020 the project was just completed. The work is subpar the contractors did the minimum at best. There wasn’t one person who could communicate with us if we had something to ask or say to the contractors. Two panels of our fence were destroyed and it was weeks before replaced. We were advised to remove all sprinkler lines in the dig area which my husband did Yet they ripped out sprinkler lines not in the dig area in fact only a few inches from the house, a screen in our window was ripped and never replaced. The contractors threw their trash in our plants. There was no communication. The project manager was dishonest about timeframes and after the first few weeks was non existent. We have weeds growing in our pavers as they don’t seal them. No footers we’re put in so pavers are already moving. (We were told this was not standard after the fact) the overall experience was terrible I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Update as of 11/11/2021 I have called Cody per the response below. I have left messages and have yet to receive a phone call back.

Such a great experience with John! He made the process of designing our dream pool fun and exciting. He also helped entertain our cranky toddler - bonus points! We can’t wait to see the final result and enjoy our beautiful pool and patio!

My family and I moved from Michigan down to Largo and have always dreamed of having a pool. We did some research online for a pool contractor and Cody Pools seemed to be the best choice. We made an appointment with John and we could not be happier! He was so professional and very informative. The pool design he made us is very custom and fits our backyard perfectly. I do not believe we could have gotten this same quality of service anywhere else! Thank you John and the Cody Pools family for helping us make our dreams become a reality.

Before you go with Cody Pools please do your homework and read the reviews (even the bad ones) Personally I will never ask for your help again you built a pool with cracks galore! I’ve called repeatedly and your service guy only showed up once and he smoked pot on my property and did NOTHING to fix the crack!

We had an appointment today to have our pool designed. John Lalley did a fantastic job designing it. Asked lots of questions to get exactly what we were looking for. Showed us around the showroom and answered all the questions we had. Made us feel comfortable about what we are doing. Can’t wait to get the pool started! Thanks John.
