“If you want someone who is patient and wants what is best for her customers, Susan is your Realtor. Susan was professional, responsive, and level-headed. She was attentive to all my needs and concerns throughout the whole process. I used Susan Ruggiero with Coldwell Banker Coast Realty to sell my condo. We received multiple offers and closed with the highest price in the neighborhood to date. ”

I have had my license in Florida for 6 months and I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Coldwell Banker Coast Realty.what really stands out for me is the level attention given by our Broker Rob Kellar to all of our associates. Problems big or small get equal consideration and a sense of humor is always welcome. Bottom line is I’m having fun selling and having fun learning and meeting new challenges in this rapidly changing market

Listed our home with Cathy and Cecil from this office. Six weeks later we were closing the sale. Throughout the entire process their professionalism and attention to detail made the entire selling experience as stress free as possible. Highly recommend this team to get it done!

This is a great group of hard working professionals. We really know the local market. I specialize in the Spruce Creek Fly In community, but we have sales throughout Volusia County and the surrounding area.

I was moving to be with my boyfriend in Connecticut from Deltona on Monday, June 1st. My plan was to try a Zillow open house a week before moving and if unsuccessful, to list my Deltona house with a local agent. I prepared, advertised and staged the Zillow open house myself with the help of my boyfriend. During the open house a nice lady showed up who expressed that the house with it's location, amenities and secure fenced-in back yard for grandchildren and pets was perfect for her. She went on to inform us she had enlisted a buyer's agent whom she had informed about the house, and who would be showing up shortly.

When the agent showed up, she asked what my plans were and I informed her of them including that I was moving to Connecticut on the Monday a week hence. She informed us that if I were to sell the house to the nice lady, I would have to pay her a 2.5% commission. Having done all of the work ourselves, we weren't crazy about that suggestion. But the nice lady met my price and since it meant I wouldn't have to worry about maintaining and negotiating the sale of a vacant house over 1000 miles away I decided to take the offer and gave the agent my keys for inspections, etc.

Using my keys the agent had the house inspected during the intervening week. That Friday, May 28th, the agent informed me of a couple of things that the inspector found that the nice lady wanted fixed, most importantly, some minor electrical work. It being the weekend, the earliest I could get an electrician to look at it was the following Monday-the day the agent knew we were to be traveling. So I called the agent to let her know and to see if that was convenient for her.

When I asked her the first words out of her mouth was, "I need more money".

I informed her that what was being done was for the benefit of her client.

She went on to inform me about a series of thing in her personal and professional life, and of greatest consequence, that she, "didn't represent me".

Taken together: that she needed more money and that she didn't represent me it was clear she was angling for an after-the-fact listing, i.e, another 6% on top of the buyer's common she was already getting for little more than just showing up at her client's calling. No ground work, no preparation, no pictures, no advertising, no hosting an open house, no repeated showings to multiple potential buyer's, no convincing someone to buy, no expenses. Just reaping buyer's and sellers commissions without having to split either with another agent. What could have been better for her!

At that point we decided we did not want to be a party to this despite the inconvenience of maintaining and selling the house from afar, would not make the requested modifications and asked the agent to return my keys. It took about twenty times asking her before she agreed to meet up with us and return my keys. I feel sorry for the nice lady who, except for the actions of her agent, I would have been happy to sell my home to.

The agent was Marian Gomez at Coldwell Banker in Port Orange, FL.

As a Realtor, I am proud and honored to be a part of Coldwell Banker Coast Realty in Port Orange FL! I wanted to be involved with a family run brokerage and well known name in the real estate industry such as Coldwell Banker. Rob Kellar, broker, goes above and beyond in assisting, training, and encouraging the agents. In the real estate world you never know when you are going to need help figuring out a contract, closing a sale, or needing advice. Rob is always available and understands the importance of communication, the key to success. I would highly recommend CB Coast if you are looking for a brokerage to join, have a home to sell/rent, or are a buyer looking for a home to purchase!

I will never use this company again. Very unprofessional. I did not know until the day of closing that my realtor was friends with the buyers and I was swindled from the beginning. My realtor let 3 other offers go, when it should have been more of a bidding war. She told the other realtors that my property was already under contract when it was not. Leading me to believe that only one offer had been made. Several other things happened as well. Don't let this happen to you.
