Colee Hammock Park reviews
18It's always beautiful. I'm local. Been yo many weddings there. Yoga. Picnics. Reading and reflecting!
Went here for a picnic in the park. Pretty small but it was nice. Great views of the lake and yachts passing by. Area for hammocks. It did get busy with people coming in and out but everyone was doing their own thing so it was fine. Wojld recommend for a nice walk or picnic in the park.
This is a perfect pocket park for relaxing in a beach chair, picnicking, reading, and fabulous river viewing.
No playground, so its more about quietly enjoying nature and the surrounding scenery. Its generally clean and serene.
Love the charm.
Beautiful park! Hidden treasure. Great place for Floridians who want to chillax by the water without the touristy effect! Easy parking.
Beautiful little park with a few benches and lots of blanket room. One side borders up to the New River for some great boat watching.
Beautiful park and also an incredible NA meeting on Sundays at 730pm which brings so much hope and inspiration to so many!
Loved it we went there for my aunt BD and it was so peaceful and i quiet highly recommend it for walks, picnics, and just to relax and I love the boats coming by
We love this park. It's usually quiet and peaceful. There are several seats available if you don't bring your own. Bring a picnic and enjoy a lovely afternoon watching the boats pass on the New River.
If you like to watch birds then this is a great place to see parrots in the wild. Relax and listen to the local conure flocks play overhead. Watch as they enter and leave their nesting caverns in the oak trees above.
There are even a couple businesses that provide complete picnic experiences for reasonable fees.
This is a very nice place to hangout for hours.
This small, well-maintained and incredibly serene park is a hidden treasure right behind bustling Las Olas Boulevard. If you love cool ocean breezes, plenty of shade, peace and quiet, beautiful tropical flora, and a place to read, picnic, rest, or view every manner of sea vessel navigating the deep blue sea, then this is your place! You will find a few spaces in front where you can park for free for three hours. At the entrance is a little box for book exchanges, and the lovely brick paths lead you to benches strategically placed around the park for water viewing. Someone brought a hammock the other day and was sleeping in the shade. Nurses were enjoying a quiet lunch together, while another family gathered for a picnic with their young children. I simply love it here. Kudos to the City of Fort Lauderdale workers who were there tidying up, always with smiles and pleasant greetings for everyone. Bring your camera as the sights along the water are stunning!
Very small park nestled in between 8 figure homes. We went here NOT to people watch but to yacht watch lol. There was many beautiful yachts being towed to sea
This park is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, quiet and relaxing. The scenic waterfront views are immaculate with views of the gorgeous mansions directly facing you. The breeze makes you feel like you're floating on air. The park is super clean. Ideal for romantic dates, picnics, yoga, meditation and relaxing. The neighborhood is also beautiful and close to Las Olas Blvd for shopping, restaurants and walking. A must see when visiting Ft. Lauderdale
Nice, small, clean, has parking spots, a table and several chairs, would be better to have a 2 sit set of chairs instead of single ones.
Can see the water taxis passing throu.
You will never in your office find a better place to relax. This park is incredible, and is at least 15 degrees cooler than anywhere in Ft. Lauderdale. If there's a breeze it comes off the waterway like air conditioning. No joking. Plenty of space to just kick back, stay cool, see beautiful yatchs and just chill.
I love this park right off Las Olas on the Intracoastal. We came here before going to dinner at Asia Bay. I love East Fort Lauderdale, what an amazing area. U can get take out and watch the boats sail by here.
Cute little gem of the Fort Lauderdale area. Enjoy watching the boats go through the canal and maybe catch a glimpse of my favorite (the floating tiki). If you're spending the afternoon, pick up a book from the mini exchange library at the entrance.
Wonderful. Can be a bit uncomfortable depending on who is in the park because of its small size. But for a midday stop, on the new river, it's very nice.
A friend showed me this park a few years ago and I fell in love. Such a peaceful area and it has a little library that you scan read books from. I also do yoga here with my instructor on certain days! Best of all, you're right on Las Olas Blvd so you can go get food and drinks just down the street!
