College Hunks Hauling Junk and Moving, Avon Park FL

I have used College Hunks for moving and other services throughout the years. My most recent experience was a local move. The crew arrived on time and was very efficient in the process of preparing and loading the items to be moved. Walker, Edwin, and Otilio were all professional and attentive to our requests at both locations. I highly recommend College Hunks based on my current and past experiences. I have had to deal with so called professional moving services on a number of occasions, none of them rise to the level of customer service that I have experienced with College Hunks.

Best of the best. Could not of asked for a harder working crew! These men moved a whole house from Sebring to Ft Myers Beach in a day. I’d hire everyone one them over and over again. Thank you Walter, Augustine and Edwin you are all amazing! We highly recommended!

I have mixed emotions regarding giving a 3 star review. The actual movers, Robert, Otilio, Walter and Edwin, were fantastic. To them I give a 5+ star review. They were professional, friendly, efficient and great to work with from start to finish. Everything was well packed and protected, especially my collectibles and artwork. However, there were evidently issues with the scheduling and coordination that prohibited their ability to complete the move in a timely manner. A move, scheduled to take one day, actually took four. This lowered the score tremendously. I was quite surprised how this turned out considering all the rave reviews I received, about this company, from quite a few people I spoke with.

This company moved my furniture from one home to another. The movers were very nice and took their time loading up the furniture from my first home to the large truck. The problem was at my second home. I was curious why moving blankets weren’t used but I didn’t say anything. I figured they knew what they were doing. They’re the professionals.
Well maybe not. I first noticed one of the movers had dropped one of my patio chairs. He didn’t see me looking. It was all marked up and had to be thrown away.
Unfortunately I didn’t notice the other issues till they left with a large tip.
My new vinyl floor had a many scratches on the surface. This would not have happened if blankets were used.
The newly painted wall in my hallway had many deep gashes and chipped paint.
A few days later I left a review with the issues on they’re website. After that I received a call from Peter telling me I signed a waiver saying they weren’t responsible for any damages.
I guess the whole thing was my fault because his movers weren’t trained properly.
I guess if they put holes in every room and ripped up my new flooring, that too would have not been their fault.

Robert and Edwin - They were very friendly and personable guys and I couldn’t have asked for better service than they provided. We’ve used College Hunks twice now and been pleased both times. Would recommend to others.

Although I chose to go with another moving company because I found the rates here very expensive, I absolutely loved Priscilla who came to give me a quote. She was very helpful and honest and even offered help after I had cancelled their services. She was extremely professional.

Robert, Walter and Kee were efficient and knowledgeable. They worked hard through the heat and didn’t stop until the job was done. I would definitely use them if I move again.

College Hunks saved me after my mover pulled a no show! They came out gave me a great estimate for the move and the team that moves junk came and cleaned up! All within two hours of my desperate phone call! Lesson learned: I will only ever use College Hunks!
I just want to add to my recommendation: College Hunks showed up as promised to box up and move the rest of my stuff. They took great care of my fragile belongings and got everything moved in just a few short hours on a day that the temperature was in triple digits! I repeat: I will only ever use College Hunks!

The Hunks walked into a hoarding house that's in the process of being cleared out. They simply got to work! Figured out how to get the bulky items out & got it done. They were amazing. I'll call again next time I need hauling!
