2The College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Miami is a wonderful place – good staff of professors, associate professors and counselors to guide you. The building itself has character, but that’s because it projects its age. The garden around has a nice light during the day and student can sit an study around the building
They should have a hotline to report SEXUAL HARASSMENT by faculty members. Two times, while visiting a former faculty member’s office I was “jokingly” asked by him to “kneel down and beg for forgiveness” after being late for an appointment. Disgusting. The professor has since moved on to a different university on the east coast, but I would be surprised if the rest of the department did not know of his propensities—he was quite open making inappropriate “jokes” to younger man.
