Colonial Quarter reviews
15Went to St Augustine for a quick weekend trip, decided to do the colonial experience and it was the best choice we made! That place is GREAT 10/10 recommend! Our guide I promise is the best one you got!
Just finished a month long tour of Florida and the Colonial Quarter was my 9 year old's favorite! Our tour guide, Cooper, was beyond amazing and kept everyone entertained and educated. The cannon and musket fire and blacksmith demo were memorable but not nearly as impressive as Cooper's concertina skills. Worth the visit. Go on Saturday to see Cooper!
I didn’t get the guy’s name, but the tour guide dude was 10/10. High energy and tons of fun.
Colonial quarter has an outdoor walk through to see historic exhibits, museums, restaurants and an outdoor stage area with picnic tables to sit at and a couple bars right along Saint George Street. The walk through is great for the whole family to enjoy together, very informative
Do not skip this! Phenomenal tour, so informative, fun, and a great addition to your trip! We only had a few hours and I’m so glad we did this. Bert was our guide and did an amazing job! Great for elementary kids!
What a place! This experience is great for family and friends. The tour is great and they are very friendly. The history is very fascinating. I especially love the interactive and walk arounds. This is a huge must-do in St. Augustine.
We did the Colonial experience. We got to listen to some history and see some historical pieces including the Oldest house, cannons, and a ship replica. It was very cool. We even got to experience the shooting of a 3lb cannon.
Really cool experience. The tour guide was informative and fun. Also nice that there were water stations throughout walking area.
They give a nice tour of what it would have been like back in the day. The tour guide was super energetic and willing to answer any question you had!
This is bigger than it seems. Several buildings including the oldest house. The tour guides are worth waiting for they are very knowledgeable and offer many insights into more of the history of st Augustine. The watch tower is a unique view of the water front. Engaging hands on visual interaction with the black smithing, printing shop, old house set up, and for the finale the cannon ball boom!
A must visit! From the blacksmith demonstration to the firing of the cannon, our guide was amazing and so knowledgeable!
We enjoyed our personal tour. The cannon fire was cool. Thanks to Bert. It was worth the money.
Guperto not sure if this is how you spell it, was a great tour guide, and it made our experience at the colonial Quarter even better then it already is.
You can spend hours, walking, looking at shops, getting food and drinks, listening to music.we did not take guided tour still managed to explore everything.
We got a combo ticket for the colonial village and the pirate museum. We loved the colonial village. Our guide was so informative, friendly and went out of his way to show my kids the ropes and cannon. He was wonderful! It's a little small, but a truly amazing experience.
