Columbia Restaurant reviews
19Awsome all around deffinatly comming back next time in tamp, the 1905 salad is awsome and worth every penny, had a draft bier unshure what brand but it was aswome spanish bier, seafood and cuban food we had was fantastic, great cuban bred withmeal, and the bread puddin and chirros were awsome
Finally took the time to go to this restaurant while visiting Tampa. From the time I walked in the staff was AAAMAZINGGGG! Very pleasant and friendly. The food was soooo delicious! My waitress Alayshia recommended the Gambas “Al Ajillo” and Caldo Gallego. Both dishes were very well seasoned!
I thoroughly enjoyed those 2 dishes! For my entrée I ordered Chicken Salteado. This dish was amazing it was cooked PERFECTLY even the chicken. I also ordered a cocktail Pete’s Manhattan, which was made PERFECTLY!
I TOTALLY enjoyed my experience and learning about the history of the restaurant, I CANNOT wait to go back!
Black beans over rice should not be dry. Hardly any sauce. Why do they serve such huge amounts if food and put them on little plates?
The food was pretty good, we spent quite a bit there but we all complained about the terrible seats. The seats are the most uncomfortable things in the world, some basic outdoor old metal chairs with 1cm of cushion. For a place with $20-$45for food seats should be comfortable.
Amazing restaurant had great mojitos. Everything had a special touch salad was prepped table side, mojitos made table side, and sangria made table side.
The food and service are excellent. It can be crowded and loud when they are busy, but I've never had a bad experience. The variety of menu options is impressive. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Amazing food. Worth the trip out to Ybor. From the bread to start, to the cub of soup, and finishing it off with the La Completa Cubana. Can’t say one bad thing about the place!
This place is amazing, the decor and atmosphere are amazing and the food is so good, but the prices are extremely reasonable. This is where I bring people from out of town. Highly recommend.
Love food, high end dinning experience at a moderate price. White tablecloths, real napkins, and well trained staff.
I brought my daughter for her 17th birthday and it was a great lunch and she got complimentary flan and I purchased the white chocolate bread pudding that was out of this world. The first one I visited was over 30 yrs ago in St Augustine. I love this location as well.
I didn't quite like this restaurant. Nice atmosphere, good drinks, food okay. I won't be going back. I love Spanish food, but this one restaurant not so much.
Impeccable service. Wonderful atmosphere and the best Cuban sandwiches ever! The 1905 salad is the bomb!
Hands down, the best place for fancy dinner or lunch. We've been many times and I think it gets better each time we go. Beautiful spaces, great service and excellent food and drinks.
Went to dinner with some friends for the flamenco dancing, and, while that was great, everything else was just terrible. We ordered four tapas dishes and three of them came out cold and soggy. By the time we got new, hot dishes, other tables were enjoying their desserts and coffees. We had to wait almost an hour just to eat our dinner. Our server could only apologize and said that the kitchen is busy which was an awful excuse. We finished our mojitos, which were good, and hung out until we were the last people it seemed. Well, we walked out into the restaurants parking lot just to witness two tow trucks towing one of our friends cars out of the restaurants lot! After being called a hate slur by one of the drivers for trying to stop him, we still had to go drive our friend to the tow lot to get the car back. Long story short: cold food, lackluster service, and our cars got towed from the restaurant!
The countries oldest Spanish restaurant. Awesome place to dine, drink and watch the dance, Flamingo. Great food and drinks. This is a must visit restaurant
Aaron was delightfultoday at lunch. Explained the history of the room. Said prepared table side never disappoints 1905.
Although we made a Reservation at 8: 30 pm for 13 guests, for their Dinner and Show, the Front Desk took a very very long time to take us to our table. It was very difficult for all 13 guests to wait up near their Front Desk when they had no room to stand without being in the way of the other guests coming in and out if that area. They need to either provide one of us with either a Pager or a Text Message when our table is ready, so we can stay in their Bar, where there is alot more room.
Melt in your mouth and delicious meals! Wonderful historic atmosphere and first class service. Full bar. Free parking across the street. Call ahead for the Paellea requires 30mins. Reservations stongly recommended. We made ours on open table. You can request to sit on the upper balcony for dinner at any size of your party up to 20 persons.we had the chicken and steak salteado, and combo plate. Mago upside down cake and flan. Delicious!
My only complaint was that the bathrooms were not very clean. The food was excellent. Our server was lovely.
