Columbia Restaurant Sand Key, Clearwater FL

Needed a place to have lunch before heading to the airport to fly back to Los Angeles and am extremely happy that we chose the Colombian.

The restruant is right on the water with great views from inside as well as the outdoor patio. This time of the year the weather is awesome with very little humidity and pleasant temperatures.

Our waitress Misty answered all of our questions on the menu and even outlined the history of the restruant. Celebrating their 116th year in business, which is a achievement to be proud of, and hopefully they will be there for at least another 100+ years.

The food was delicious, the fresh cuban bread, empanadas, original Cuban sandwich, black bean cake and bowl of black beans could not have been better.

When in the area put this on you “got to go” list and you won’t be disappointed.

We loved our server Carlos, & the food so much we came back three days in a row. I can't speak highly enough about this establishment. Thank you!

We sat on their large covered patio for lunch. Everything was delicious. The server was friendly and helpful with suggestions. The four of us shared a pitcher of mojitos— minty and refreshing. We had two tapas: chicken croquettes and mushrooms stuffed with spinach and artichokes.

I ordered red snapper that was breaded and served with egg on top. It was the best snapper I’ve ever tasted. They served it with hot Cuban bread, crispy outside and soft inside.

We were too full for dessert so we got flan to go, and we ate it the next day with our leftovers from the large meal.

Very very good! Seafood is excellent! Don’t eat the bread because you will need room fo the excellent appetizers and main courses. We had a seafood dip fie appy and seafood for main. Red Snapper to die for. Key lime pie the best! Ambience is the best, very classy.

Great atmosphere with the patio view and great food! Try the salad and any of the seafood.

Decent customer service and beautiful beach view. Food was ok, not so outstanding as i expected.

Good but just not as great as Original Ybor City location or atmosphere. Food is great, same as Ybor.

The food is just as good as the Ybor location. The deck near the water is a good outdoor option, but lacks some of the “Columbia” ambience. If you are visiting Clearwater and want an authentic taste of Tampa it is definitely a must do.

First time here took my wife for her birthday. Our waitress Samantha was awesome and gave great suggestions! We had a amazing time! Can’t beat the cava sangria and watching dolphins. We will definitely be returning

Wow, this restaurant was amazing! Food was outstanding, service was great, and it’s gorgeous inside and a fun, upbeat atmosphere! Definitely check it out if you’re in the Clearwater area.

Dined there 11/10/21. Food was ok. Front desk inattentive. Bartender was on his game. Building is old and tired. Waitress was untrained. Not fine dining at all.
