Comfort Temp Heating & Air, Gainesville FL

I had a terrible experience with this company. They installed the unit at our home and 18 months later, the unit was not working. A tech came out and diagnosed a leak. Another tech came out to fix the leak but after an hour, said there was no leak. He simply charged the unit with refrigerant and left after charging me for 2 hours of labor. 6 weeks later, the unit was again no longer working because indeed there was a leak, and $800 later, I was where I started. I called another company and within 30 minutes, the leak was identified and the tech came back to fix the leak, which was caused by an issue with a connector. It took about 30 minutes.

Save your time and money and do not use this company. They also tried not to honor the coupon they advertise on their website. I had to call and talk to someone for 45 minutes before they finally honored the $50. Really a waste of my time. I am a very disappointed customer. They made the process painful and expensive every step of the way. I called back to see if they would make it right and they defended what they did. If there was no leak, where did the original refrigerant go?

I had to call Gator Air to come and actually solve the problem.

Technician was courteous, thorough and very customer service focused. I also appreciate that I was given a reminder call by office to set up the maintenance appointment.

Prompt return of my call when my new unit was not providing heat. Nick identified the issue, showed me the problem and fixed it within an hour. He was knowledgeable about the system and provided thorough explanations of the repair needed. From call to repair was less than 3 hours on a holiday weekend. That’s great service.

My HVAC system failed and needed to be replaced ASAP. I contacted comfort temp and someone was able to come out the same day got me pricing same day was able to provide a top-notch product and get my system working temporary until the new unit could be installed. The service was just excellent from A-Z

Today on a Sat am called for AC malfunction: the tech, Mike, called back promptly and came over within an hour, did a thorough evaluation and fixed problem, and advised re further followup. We are on routine maIntenance plan and cost today was quite reasonable.

I had a great experience with this company with the installation of a heat pump, which had particular challenges because of the height of my building. Some very courteous people who do good work from what I’ve seen on my first day now.
