Comfort Zone A/C & Heating, Vero Beach FL

We have used Comfort Zone twice now to repair a newer AC system installed by another company. They have always been courteous, prompt, and fair with their pricing. We highly recommend their services.

Unprofessional, under qualified new Techs trying to wing it on their own and are set up to fail, very poor communication, they’ve consistently run two months or more late on providing the semi annual maintenance, Appt was between 2/3pm, showed up at 4pm, and if that’s not enough they blew up my working AC during a routine maintenance because they couldn’t figure out why my south unit wasn’t coming on after they’d turned the thermostat way down. They turned thermostat down on the north unit! They’d torn it apart, took wires off, killed my compressor. At 8: 15PM (!) more than 4 hrs after arriving my husband told them to pack it up and get off our property. This routine maintenance cost me thousands of dollars. The owner wouldn’t even return calls and never came to our property to see what had happened. They do not even deserve the one star I had to give them.

Have used Comfort Zone for over 6 years and very satisfied. In fact, so satisfied I have recommended them to many others - who have expressed similar satisfaction. This is a wonderful “family business”, very responsive to customer needs. I rate them a Five Star +

Finding some of these great reviews hard to believe. Comfort Zone installed my new A/C, but they did a really bad job. Came back many times over the following months but only made things worse. They left the unit damaged and left me pretty disappointed.

Great service! I called yesterday morning with questions about clean air due to my daughter’s allergies. An air scrubber was recommended at a great price. I asked how soon could I get an appointment and was able to get worked in same day. I can’t wait to see the improvement in her health. Thanks Comfort Zone!

All I really can say is WOW! What an awesome company. Jim an his staff were professional and efficient. This was a major job and they pulled it off in a day. My husband an I couldn't have picked a better company they are the best. I have to say Jim is so educated an so honest he goes up an beyond for his customers. We have been using Comfort Zone since we bought our home in 2005. They installed the original air conditioner in the house we bought and have been performing semi-annual maintenance on the same unit until this year when we finally had a new one installed. They also fixed some duct issues at the same time. Jim and all the techs who have ever come out are always very friendly, professional and helpful. The office staff is also great and follow-up to be sure everything is working as it should. I highly recommend Comfort Zone!

AC was making a loud noise, called Comfort Zone A/C and they sent Zack out that day. He came early and was very professional. He was able to explain to us what the problem was. We had a power surge. Also checked the air conditioner to be sure all was good. Thanks Zack.

Brought new construction in Vero Beach 4 years ago. The indoor evaporator coil was poorly installed by the builder's subcontractor and developed a leak in tubing that rubbed together. Zack quickly did the initial diagnosis and company owner Jim got a new evaporator coil ordered immediately making sure I had enough refrigerant to last me until the part came in. Techs Zack and Cliff got the coil installed and did a great new install with attention to detail evident. Cost for the whole job was better than reasonable. Comfort Zone A/C and Heating will always be my go to company for HVAC. I am recommending this local Vero Beach company to all my friends and neighbors.

Zack was here today for scheduled maintenance, friendly, professional and knowledgeable, answered all my questions. I've used other companies over the years and was occasionally satisfied. I have always been satisfied with Comfort Zone.

The tech came out promptly and took care of the problem in minutes. Courteous and efficient.

I've tried several A/C companies over the years and most recently have had misdiagnosis of an issue. I had met Jim through his wife and sensed immediately his/their kindness, sincerity and love of family.
My A/C was making a noise in the attic which, after several months got louder and louder and scarier. Company A came out and said it was something and would only get worse, so I waited. Finally, I called Comfort Zone A/C, Jim came out and immediately recognized the problem, ordered the big part and within 2 days no more loud rattling.
I highly recommend this company.their knowledge is incredible

I called the company who usually maintains our AC and they said they would have a representative call me. An hour later I decided to check for other companies. I found this company and read the reviews and decided to give them a try. Glad I did. I will use them going forward. Arrived right on time. The tech was very thorough and explained everything very well.
The other company never did call back.

Today was the second routine maintenance visit by them. My system is old so I asked them to recommend any preventive measures I could take now to reduce future issues. After a comprehensive evaluation several issues were identified and rectified. Couldn't be more satisfied.

These guys were amazing! As young home owners with a new baby we tried to save money and redo our duct work ourselves but hit a few walls - we called up Jim and he even tried to help walk us through it. Ultimately he and his crew came out to fix our mistakes and finish the job. They worked ALL day and finished in such a quick manner - it was top notch!

I first used this company for my A/C & Heating needs at my business location. They were so terrific that I used them at my home. Between the two buildings, they have pretty much done everything I could possibly need from an A/C & Heating company; starting with "turning on the heat" at my business (years after it was installed, mind you), to replacing our home AC, to maintenance like they did today. Super great, trustworthy company!
