I’m writing this review on behalf of my husband who has been to Ron twice now! Previously, we previously went to Eric at Compass Point before he moved away.

I want to add that we spent at least a year without massage before deciding it was time to get re-established! Looking at who was available for a Sunday appointment, led us to finding Ron and we are so glad he was available!

From the first few minutes getting acquainted and discussing the goals of massage, my husband and I knew we Ron was going to be awesome! I can’t say enough wonderful things about his massage techniques, willingness to tailor massage to your individual needs, along with his continued compassionate nature to check-in for pressure and position comfort.

He also has availability on the weekends and late afternoons/ evening which are HUGE perks for those who work traditional workdays. Pricing is more than reasonable for the services and quality he provides!

If you are looking for a super massage therapist, please give him a try! I’m sure you will not be disappointed!

The best! Josie is amazing! As a nurse (who puts others first and forgets to take care of herself), I know the importance of self-care. Compass-Point has made it easy and affordable. Some weeks it’s all about relaxation, but often it’s working on those muscles and joints that are overused in my profession. I’m rejuvenated and ready to face the world after my session. Been receiving bodywork from Drew for the past year. Hands down one of the most talented bodyworkers I’ve ever met. He’s very intuitive, empathetic and makes you feel safe/comfortable if you’re a woman.
I deal with scoliosis and occasional piriformis syndrome. Drew not only alleviates my pain, but has helped reset my body so that it hasn’t come back. He’s also given me lifestyle advice adjustments that have made an impact. He has a truly unique approach that’s rare to find!

Compas point massage has the most incredible ambience with the perfect mood to make you feel relaxed and comfortable! Drew Chung had expertice techniques that relieved all my pressure points with ease and accuracy. I also LOVE their pet fishes

Ron is an absolute life saver! So thankful that Ron was able to squeeze me in last minute and give me some much needed relief from the tension/strain in my neck and back while studying for my final exams. The facility was clean and he was very professional. I will definitely be back! I highly recommend Ron as he as a background in PT and knowledgeable about different massage techniques. He spent a few minutes in the beginning chatting with me about what was bothering me/what I wanted to focus on and we came up with a treatment plan.

Karen did an awesome job loosening up my back and the tension in my upper body! Would definitely recommend her and will be back soon!

Had a massage done with Ron. I booked a massage with him after reading reviews and he did not disappoint. I work out alot, I have alot of tension and not alot of flexibility. He did a cross between Sweedish and Deep tissue which was perfect for my needs. He checked in often to see if the pressure he was using was to much or not enough. We adjusted as the massage went along and it was great. His physical therapy background makes him very knowledgeable in how to best help you. I already booked a follow up appointment with him. Definitely recommend.

I love this business. I have had a lot of bodywork over the years, but Sonia is hands-down the most gifted massage therapist I've ever seen. I am always very comfortable on her table; she is nonjudgmental and kind. I see her regularly and she has helped me manage my issues more than anything else has.

I had a deep tissue from Josie and it was beyond amazing! She listened to what was troubling me and took care of my pain. I feel better ow than I have in awhile! I highly highly recommend Josie for any massage.

Last night I came in for a last-minute same-day scheduled appointment. After what felt like the longest, most stressful, and most overwhelming day ever all I needed was a good massage. Thankfully, I had the honor of Karen the massage therapist caring for me. Let me tell you…. Hands down she is by far the BEST I’ve ever gone to. When I came in I was beyond tense, when I left I felt like a brand new woman. Because of that amazing massage last night, today I feel like I can accomplish anything. That is just how relaxed my body feels. I just love that she applies just the right amount of press. My lower back has been tense for the last month as I work from home. I pretty much sit the majority of the day. Well, can I tell you that the pain in my lower back is completely gone? If I could give Karen 100 stars I would. Thank you Karen for being so kind and for the best massage ever!

Followup/Retraction: I am absolutely elated to share my subsequent follow-up communication received from both Ron and Drew. Both Ron and Drew expressed their sincere apologies regarding my appointment "mix-up". They also extended two discounted massage sessions as a gesture of good will. Not very often will a company take responsibility for it's actions or lack thereof. Both Ron and Drew have earned a customer for life. If you're ever in Gainesville, FL, Iencourage you to experience a massage session with both Ron and Drew.

I was literally scheduled for a 430pm appointment with Drew (would've been my 3rd visit, but 1st time with Drew) and I was told @4: 11pm the day of my appointment that it was filled. What I believe actually occurred was that my questioning of payment methods (mentioned Groupon and New Client Rates) caused them to cancel my appointment. I literally received massages back home every single weekend for almost 15 years. I NEVER had an appointment cancelled without proper notice. Unfortunately today's experience left a horrible taste in my mouth and I won't be doing business with Compass again. Such a shame too as I believe Ron was a great therapist.
