Really nice interactive exhibits! The kids loved the mangrove wave machine, the touch pools, and the baby alligators. The volunteers at the touch pools were great. We probably should have skipped the boat ride- it was too hot and there wasn't a lot of nature left on the river- just houses.

Took my 5 year old to Earth Day celebration. Everything was clean, staff was super helpful and polite, the gentleman that did the science presentation and even used a blower to entertain the kids was AMAZING. Experience definitely exceeded my expectations. Earth Day had no tickets or admissions charges.

Wonderful place to visit. Educational. Great organization. Become a member, help support their mission and be able to visit all year round. Great place to visit with grandchildren and visitors.

It's a pretty nice place. The scenery is very pretty, and the tours are nice. It's a spot that I'd definitely take my kids to (if I had any) and somewhere that I know I would've loved to visit 15 years ago. There's nice little presentations about various topics here and the speaker was friendly and funny when I went. The kids in the audience loved him. For sure would recommend for families or for anyone who has a free afternoon.

This is a great place to visit with kids! We were so pleasantly surprised with the exhibits. They were professional, informative, interactive and fun for kids and adults. There is even a great touch tank and a virtual encounter with and alligator, bear and panther! Every volunteer we came into contact with was knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. The price of admission (very reasonable) also includes a 45 min electric boat ride which was relaxing and informative. Highly recommend this place!

Great place to visit for visitors and locals alike. You'll see rescued birds, snakes, baby alligators, fish, and a touch tank where you can learn about urchins, sea stars, and crabs. A new exhibit allows you to see a projection on a globe of the earth in many different ways (population, rainfall, etc). Great place for kids and adults to learn more about Florida's incredible ecosystem.

Congratulations and congratulations again! We came 7 years ago and came back with our daughter. A true moment of pleasure. A lot of pedagogy perfectly adapted to children but also to adults. We were accompanied by the people on site, with even a lady who even informed us in French.

I highly recommend everyone to check it out.

Wonderful environmental program,
Excellent discovery center with a variety of live animals, a walk through the Florida landscapes, an aquatic touch tank, and the invasive species gallery.
Love the boat ride through the mangroves.
A hidden gem in Naples

I brought a stork there a while back and there was actually a news article written about me saving the bird from a storm drain. I told them that the bird was very weak and in need of immediate care but obviously they didn’t listen because it died! The bird needed fluids and medical attention immediately. But when I brought it in they said that they would give it antibiotics, Chinese herbs, and wait to see if it perked up. But obviously it needed emergency care.if I could go back in time I would’ve brought the stork to Veteranarian and I would’ve paid for the best care possible. They’re very good at service at the front desk and speaking to me over the phone while I was rescuing the bird from the drain. I love the place it looks like they have all the best intentions but I just feel like they could’ve done better! How hard is it to save a week bird? The stork wasn’t injured at all it was only very weak from being stuck in a storm drain for days and days surrounded by dead fish. I feel like it could’ve been saved if they were more serious about the situation.

This is a fun little outing. My rating would be a 3.5. There are not many activities. The place is 3 small little centers 1) is a hospital nursery (we could see one baby) 2) a housing center where they had an owl, an eagle and a hawk. This center also has a small interaction play area and 3) a walk through FL center. You walk through the topography of Florida. Its basically the size of a small house. With your $15 admission (per person) you get a boat ride (30-40 min) of the area but this isnt really for small kids. Not much to look at. For adults it's informative. Our captain was very knowledgable and patient with our kids.

Overall, for the price I would likely go to the children's museum to tire out the littles. However, I didnt mind the high price (per person) since the money goes towards a good cause.

Bonus point is that the Naples zoo is right next door (not walking distance).

Took our 3 year old grandson and was disappointed in the number of animals and play area for the price. Play area especially was nothing but a room with essentially nothing in it. Better for an older child who can do learning activities.
