Travis has and continues to be reliable, thorough, trustworthy and the epitome of professional. I have never experienced subpar service from this company. From the phone calls to house calls, they are all over it. Only wish there were more companies like this one.

Started using Cool Rays as soon as I purchased my new house. They have replaced three air conditioners. All the techs that have been here have been super friendly, polite and have shown the utmost respect for both me and my home. I have had Travis out here the last few times. He always informs me of what’s he’s doing and when something is wrong. He calls before he arrives and gets here at stated time. He’s knows where all my indoor systems are and gets right to work, listens patiently to all my questions and answers them honestly and in a way so that I can understand. He gives me tips and suggestions to keep the ACs in tip top condition. Plus, he is super nice. Go Travis!

In our experience, Cool Rays is a wonderful company to use. We used them to install a new ac unit in our home in August of 2023, and they did in excellent job. They were quick to schedule, reliable with each appointment, fair with their pricing, on top of communication, and always provided us with the necessary details in every correspondence. Every single member of their team that we interacted with was professional, kind, friendly, and absolutely made us feel comfortable and that they cared about taking good care of us as their customers. We have definitely had some companies come in our home that have not made us feel comfortable, but Cool Rays truly does make you feel like they genuinely care for each of their clients almost like family. They came out during the hottest part of summer, worked steadily through the entire job in the sweltering heat, and still were smiling and cheerful every time we interacted. We were extremely impressed with them in every aspect of the whole job. Since installing our new unit, we have not once had an issue with our air conditioning and it has been the biggest blessing. Not one complaint, issue, or hesitation - instead they left such a positive impression on us that we were very well cared for and they know how to treat their clients right. We would recommend them and not hesitate to use them again ourselves.

I have had pretty good experiences with cool rays. I have had a system replaced and multiple service calls for maintenance. Travis especially is great. Constantly teaches me something new and always breaks down everything. Arrives right when the appointment is scheduled for. At this point I would be asking for Travis specifically even though everyone else has been pretty great.

10/5 stars! Clayton is great, his wife answered at almost 9pm on a Saturday, offering to send the technician. We waited until Sunday and in less than an hour our hvac was fixed. Great work, honest, and paid price.

Travis Barfield was super helpful! He fixed our heater just in time before the cold weather comes around again. He also gave us great advice on the location of our thermostat. Highly recommend!

Within one day of calling to receive service on an old A/C unit, Travis was able to look it at, diagnose the problem, and solve it within the hour. Extremely professional and prompt across the board.

**Update: added some stars after I spoke to the owner and I have to say that I was impressed that he reached out to me to apologize for the miscommunication and experience I had. I think he's a genuine guy who really cares about his customers' experience and he made it right with me. Thanks for showing me this was likely just a one-off and not how you do business.

Really disappointed with Cool Rays and what their service tech told me yesterday after our A/C went out. Our usual company wasn't available right away, so I called around and found Cool Rays (which had a lot of good reviews). The service tech was here on time and very friendly, but must have had no idea what he was talking about or didn't care enough to do a thorough assessment of our A/C unit failing to work.

First red flag was he only went into our attic to look at the air handler; didn't even go outside to the external unit to see if the issue was actually with that (which it turns out- it was). He told me the thermostat was bad and that it would cost $1,000 for a new one! Oh and that didn't include "having" to run new wiring to the handler which would cost an additional $1,400.really man?

He then told me that for that kind of cost to repair with an 8-year old system (installed in 2015), we should really just think about replacing everything. So I had them send another gentlemen out for that quote (he was great, nothing against him).

Lo and behold, when my trusted company came out to take a look, he immediately was shocked at the price and diagnosis Cool Rays gave me. All he had to do was go out to the external unit, run some diagnostics, and determined it was a bad pressure switch- NOT the thermostat.

With just a simple fix, he had us up and running and saved us potentially $10k on a new system, or $2400 for a new thermostat that wasn't even needed. Will not be recommending your company and really happy I waited on a second opinion.
