Cool'A Fishbar, Palm Beach Gardens FL

I was meeting a group of friends at Cool’a Fishbar for dinner tonight. Service and food was good. Towards the end of dinner, a girl came up behind me, tapped me on the shoulder and said, “I don’t have money, I am hungry. Can I have your food? ” The restaurant manager came up behind us and quickly leaned in and asked if I was “OK” with that? I was caught off guard and felt pressured. Being human and having empathy for the girl, I handed her my doggy bag.
I’m disappointed at Vincent, the restaurant manager for not regulating the restaurant and monitoring loiterers interrupting paid customers while dining.
We paid for a dining experience and especially in this inflated economic situation, everybody works hard for their earnings. This whole situation made all 9 of us feel uncomfortable.
Please have a better handle with the restaurant and ensure your paid customers can enjoy their dining experience. Not sure if I will return to dine in with friends again.

Staff were very nice, the ambiance very good crowded but not to loud, we had the Mango BBQ Mahi and the Mediterranean Bowl, both were tasty and cooked just right.

Really enjoyed my meal which we ate at the bar. The bartender was fabulous even with a full house. Was pleasantly surprised and tge happy hour prices were amazing

Shelly was the most amazing server I've ever had. She was attentive and knowledgeable. I will come back just for her.

As much as we enjoyed the service, the space and the conch appetizer, the main course let us down in the most unhealthy way. My husband ordered fish, salad and Cool'A loaded baked potato. Thankfully I opted for rice and string beans. The fish looked rubbery and old, the salad was over dressed and not rinsed thoroughly, I took a bite, and, the highly touted over the top baked potato, with many potentially spoiled ingredients, managed to give my husband a severe case of food poisoning. He was violently ill for over 24hrs!
As a concerned consumer, I called the restaurant to let them know. I spoke with the manager on duty, I believe his name was Steve. Although kind, he didn't seem very interested. I made it clear, I wasn't calling for a refund. I wanted them to know about the food poisoning in case others had experienced something similar. He mentioned he would share the information with the GM later that evening and, I should expect a call. Sadly, we received no calls from the restaurant.
A bad food experience could have been forgiven simply by taking a moment to show some compassion. Good customer service goes along way with most consumers.
Maybe next time your GM will take a thoughtful moment and pick up the phone!

Been going there for years place is absolutely awesome. The food is superb and staff is on point.

We ate at Coola’s Fishbar with my husband and another couple the other night and it was wonderful. All the food was simply scrumptious and our waitress Rissa was exceptional. I would say she was by far one of the best waitresses I have ever had. Thanks so much! I can’t wait to go back.

It was an amazing experience we only ordered appetizers but it was still very good my favorite part was the calamari, it was not too rubbery but still crunchy this was a great experience, with very fast service and amazing staff team.

Good local seafood and they take reservations. Macadamia crusted Yellowtail Snapper, Sweet Potato Crusted Corvina and Key lime pie we're great. Outdoor seating is great.

Amazing! We were in Christmas Eve, bartender was on her a game. Came back week later, with few friends, once again service was wonderful and our dinner super delicious!

Free happy hour with half price drinks and 20% off the food. Kelly the bartender is friendly and amazing! She knows how to make a great martini! The chicken piccata sauce is incredible.

Excellent service and the best food! I would say this was a better dining experience than Capital Grill (plus less expensive). During 5-6pm most of the menu is 20% off. Definitely a competitor for Food Shack/Leftovers. Will certainly be going back!

Food & service were very good. Prices are a bit high. Guess the cost of food had an impact.

The food was great! All fresh, all greatly presented. But if you can get Melissa as your server, you’re night is golden. She is the BOMB! I had a flight to catch and my girl made sure we were good! She’s awesome.

Outstanding seafood restaurant! The service and food were exemplary. I had the halibut with lemon caper sauce, and it was a meal to remember for a very long time. The rest of the party had yellow snapper and thoroughly enjoyed their meals as well. This is our second visit and certainly won’t be the last.
