Coral Gables Parking Department

Can't even park behind our own business without getting a ticket.

I was parked at the corner of s bayshore dr and darwin st for 4 minutes waiting for my wife to get out of work when this metermaid bobes said in a condescending way " if you are going to camp here pay the meter" I told him that my wife was in the elevator on her way down he responded "so". There was no shortage of parking at the time there was 1 other car and at least 15 empty spaces. When i have parked in front of the building and gone inside i have all ways paid parking.

Worse experience, just pay for parking in cash at the machine, parking was $5, pay with $20 and we never got our change back. They have a call box and whoever answered said to press the help button on the screen, we looked for the help button and there was no help button display on the screen, kept calling the box and no answer after. Thief!

I live and have my business in City Beautiful (Coral Gables) but daily we are exposed to the rudest parking employees you can imagine. If you go to the parking office located at Salzedo St, probably you will be attended by Eric, he has no customer service skills, very rude. He refuse to charge me 3 months of my parking space because I did not sent him an email, prior to my visit, that is unacceptable. After complaining about it, he told me that he has the right to refuse to serve me, Really? I pay his salary, are you kidding me? I went to the City Hall and I made a formal complaint against this man. They called the parking Director Mr Kinney, I hope he makes changes in that office, we the residents need to be SERVE with respect.
