Corner Bar & Grill, Largo FL

I have had the worst experience with both a bartender who drinks at the facility and cannot hold her liquor cussing and profanity at me over the bar. The owner chimes in with her about me picking up girls at the bar. What does a single man That has a great business that makes great money really go to the bar for drinks and women. I will never go back to this place. I spend about a 1000 to 1500 a week there. Bringing my workers eating lunches drinking at night. Eating dinner's doing laundry at her facility next door which the owner followed me over to the laundry Mat to birch and act like an obnoxious fool in front of everybody. No, if you're a prominent businessman, do not go to this dive of a bar, you can't even pick up a woman.

How does she own a business I don't know a lot of good drinkers.

I won't lie, but my girl Daisy and I love us some karaoke. In fact, Daisy is the only woman in the Tampa/Clearwater/St. Pete area who absolutely slaughters "Ready to Go" by Republica, which is the one song I have begged any girl I've ever met at a karaoke bar who had a decent voice to sing. I have a standing offer at karaoke bars across the country, that if anyone, of any gender, sings that song while I'm in the building, I will buy them a drink. I asked Daisy one time if she knew it. She said no. And the very next time we were together, she had learned it and sang it for me. That's why she's a keeper. The large rectangular bar allows plenty of room for those who choose to belly up to it, and there is also ample booth seating, including booths near the pool table. The giant tv displays assure that both the singer and the audience can follow the words, as well as a list of the current and upcoming singers, continuously updated by the KJ, (Hoot was working the knobs tonight) so all performers have plenty of time to Google lyrics, enjoy some of the excellent fare from the kitchen, or throw back all the liquid courage they need. Joey and Jen were behind the bar the last time we went, and were both very successful in making our night a great one. And the crowd at The Corner is always gracious and generous with their applause. So it doesn't matter when you need to scratch that karaoke itch, because the show starts at 9pm 7 days a week, but it will get very busy on the weekends, so show up early if you want to grab a good seat and get your shot onstage.

$11.00 for a weak margarita is absurd - even beach prices aren’t that high! Will NOT be back!

Waited 45 min for an omelet.finally left.they had to give it away.been their many times.but place getting to be a joke

We come here some Tuesday nights after bowling, we've been a couple times. Always jamming and I love it. The food is actually pretty good as well! Love the sliders.

I had the pleasure of having lunch today and the service was exquisite! The bartender (Joanna) was kind, considerate and entertaining! She made the atmosphere relaxing, especially after a stressful day. My food came out without hiccups! Very delicious, fresh and tasty, thanks Paul! If you haven't tried it, stop by and see what this dainty place has to offer.

Everyone is very cool here. Food is good. Not much of a drinker but they had an alternative to an Angry Orchard. Enjoy the karaoke!

I have been down here living in Largo a few years now and I LOVE places like the Corner Bar because it is where all the locals like to go! The food is always good and the service is FANTASTIC. I always love to go in and be greeted by JoAnna because she always has a smile on her face and makes you feel appreciated! Jo also likes to chat and ask you how things are going. Have brought other people in and will continue to do so. Scott

I used to love this bar but Giovanna is the definition of monster. She hate crimed me and my people. Extremely homophobic and hateful also try to sell me coke which was weird as she was 78 and disabled.

I've been going to corner bar for years, I refer to it as my bar! The newer bartenders can be kind of a weird fit, I am definitely not huge on watching my bartenders text and play on their phones so much. I love my old school girls and Janelle! I like that this isn't just a mans bar but still has such a chill atmosphere. As a 24yr old female it’s nice knowing I can walk in dressed up or in a tank top and shorts and always feel at home. Vito runs a happy bar and I love that I can walk and be greeted like family.

Stop in here, as it was the only place open late. There was no seating available, standing room only. I ordered a quesadilla to go, that I had seen on another review & it didn’t disappoint. Service was good& it didn’t take long for the food to come out. I will definitely come back.

Good luck if you’re trying to do karaoke — they put new singers at the BOTTOM of a 20+ person rotation, so if you even want to sing just once, it’s a 1.5-2 hour wait MINIMUM. The karaoke hosts aren’t very personable, and the scrolling list of singers on the screen only shows the next 3 people (even though the system they use is able to show the full list on the screen per other bars), so you don’t even know how much longer you have until your turn. Been in multiple times and have left without even getting to sing, at this point I’m done even trying to go here. The only reason I’m giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because there’s no smoking inside at least, and there’s plenty of parking.
An easy suggestion to make it so new people don’t have to wait 2+ hours: After the first rotation (in which EVERY new person should be able to sing before anyone goes a second time), start adding new people in between every other old singer and alternate (old, new, old, new, etc).

I walked in and asked to use the atm & the heavyset bartender that was behind the bar replied in a very bad tone instead of directing me to it. Won’t ever come out here to drink if that is the way you are treating your customers. Miserable I asked where the ATM was and you corrected me how I asked. Bad attitude and I wouldn’t be giving this type of service any business. Tuesday the June 13th around 8: 30 am.

The Customers that come in are rude, drunk, and uneducated! I would rather go to a strip club than this bar! Erica
