Why did 2/3rds of the membership abandon this church in August 2023? In a nutshell, the 2 former elders listed on their website were confirmed in 2 flagrant sins and as a result, disqualified themselves from the ministry. Members later compared notes and realized that for over two years other members from the congregation, to include other elders and laymen, had been calling them to repentance on myriad occasions. Tragically, once it became clear that those calls were falling on deaf ears, six members from the church publicly rebuked them for the sins and called them to repentance (1Tim5: 19-21). To the church’s, dismay, rather than humbling themselves, the two elders doubled down on their sin, driving the church discipline process forward, eventually leading to their excommunication. However, in a sad attempt to preserve their positions and assets, rather than stepping down, they change the locks on the church, forcing the church to abandon them in place. Christians should avoid these men at all costs (Rom16: 17-18).

Unfortunately, I cannot longer attend or recommend this precious Church. Yes, I love the other 1/3 of the members that didn’t leave and still attend this Church. I just can’t recommend it as long as Marc Brashear and Dale Gardner are their pastors for they haven’t listened to God’s call to repent…and that call was through the means of His Word and His people. If/when they step down, the story may change. But, while this is not the case, look for another reformed baptist Church.

Two of the pastors have been deemed disqualified by 2/3 of the membership, but have refused to step down from the office. An elder rule constitution has turned this once God-glorifying church into a bullied body of beaten and confused parishioners. Look for other Reformed Baptist congregations in the area.

I thank God for this church. I love the people and the elders. Solid verse by verse bible preaching.

Went there for a lady's conference. They were all very very nice and I enjoyed it a lot you need to be aware that they are baptist, but they are Reformed Baptist. So do your homework if that's what you're looking for they would be a great place to be but be aware that they are reformed.

Our family loves this church! We're members of a small Reformed Baptist church (1689) in the West and have made this our home-away-from-home church as we travel to Florida. We have attended over a dozen times. Even some Bible studies and fellowships. The preaching is solid and edifying. The people are friendly and are lovers of Christ. We highly recommend!

I‘m so thankful for this church! I’ve been attending here for years. The Word of God is preached every Sunday, the people are very friendly, and the pastors truly love and care for the congregation. I wish I could give it more stars!

This church is an answered prayer. I have been going here for 10 plus years and I can say that the love for God’s word and His people has been consistently displayed. This church is like a glass of fresh water after long run. I am thankful to the Lord for this body of believers that loves God and seeks nothing more than to glorify the Lord in all that they do. If you are looking for sound teaching, verse by verse teaching, and just a love for God’s word…. Look no further THIS IS THE CHURCH!

Great biblical church, I’ve been a member for over 12 years and I’ve never experienced the true love for Christ until I came here, the teachings and preaching are what set us apart, biblical exposition of the word is been a great help in my Christian walk, the love from the brothers and sisters is genuine and unconditional, if you are looking the learn the word of God and what is the gospel this is the church
