Cortez Plaza East reviews
18The past two years at least the half off plaza facing the mall has been a wreck.the parking lot caved in and had a excavator digging out a creek in it or something to control the water.the side facing 41 looks all nice and is full of businesses.the part towards 301/1st st is mostly empty save for dollar general, 5 below, rainbow, etc.really illustrate issues this town has with the have vs.have nots divide.yep, this place is at the intersection of the collision of the 2 worlds as we know it here in bradenton.
Terrible parking lot, it will be quite a while before I shop here again. This parking lot has been torn-up for at least 5 years that I can remember. Shame on the owner for not taking care of this local center. They didn't pay attention at Edison Mall either. It is now closed.
The waitress had a runny nose and was wiping it with her bare hand then tried serving us. We got the manager and she was amazing
I have lived in Manatee County Bradenton since 1986. Sooo many changes and now the pandemic period. Very short of funds. But people, don't be reluctant to go to the Dollar tree there at the East end of the plaza. THEY have more than you know.all the "little stuff you need", a variety more than you know. Take the time to go by there. Frozen and canned food, paper products, school supplies, holiday supplies, batteries, ducttape, cards, and on and on. The employees are polite and helpful. They've saved me a ton of money I didn't have in the first place
Cody's is a great little neighborhood place with good apps, good salad & bread. I love their prime rib and chocolate cake!
The only reason I'm giving this plaza a lower star rating is because of the damage all of the sinkholes have done now they are working on fixing them so they have literally ripped up the entire center of this plazas parking lot. It is so inconvenient when you need to get into a certain store because of it. And it's right by our house so it has Dollar tree five, below bed bath & beyond, Ross, Sally beauty supply, optical outlets, and Firehouse subs. Places we like to go too. So this plaza has a great stores in it but very difficult plaza to drive in. Almost had an accident yesterday trying to get a parking spot to go to Dollar tree. My rating will change once it's fixed but it seems like it's taking forever.
We only went to Michael's and Bed, Bath and Beyond but each store was fine and the customer service was great! It's the parking lot you have to be careful of! A sink hole appeared over a year ago, they tore up the asphalt there, then continued to destroy the parking area entirely. It's been a mess for too long without many repair workers to be seen on site. The stores that are open are suffering financially due to lack of easy parking. It is only because I don't want to destroy my car's under carriage that I have been MOSTLY shopping at other locations. This was a quick in, out and gone visit before going home.
My daughter and I love their Wednesday special. Buy 1 fajita and get 1 for 50% off. Delicious food and good service. Yummy.
Sally's beauty supply, have patients in parking, they are under construction. But they are open and have the best prices and products
Once they finish fixing the parking lot I am sure it will be better. Parking lot was caving in from water pipes supposedly. Has a Michaels and Bed Bath and Beyond thats why I go here.
Multiple good stores in this plaza. Note, the parking lot is under repair at far end of plaza & cannot enter from that area.
Several top stores, but parking is a challenge due to large scale construction that blocks 35% of the parking lot and Cortez road entry.
Great service. I had my son's birthday party and Yessenia Rock! She was so helpful and attentive the kids enjoy everything. Food came out on time and I was happy with the price? Definitely I will be coming back
There are so many stores here, I truly makes for a great weekend shopping trip. Plan to spend atleast half your day if not the whole day just browsing or shopping. All together a great place to go out with friends or family.
This plaza makes me sad, lots of Bradenton history and now looking depleted and run down. It just needs work. Near the end where five below is at, it is better, always construction in the parking lot and bad parking
I was looking for a particular hair product, no stores seem to have it. I went to Ross and they had some. There cloths are attractive and good selection on sizes, it was worth the trip!
There are quite a few business in this plaza, with a variety of services being offered. There is a security car patrolling the premises. The only downside is the approximately 14,000 speed bumps and stop signs that one must go through (if you come from Mission BBQ and want to go to Bed Bath and Beyond). Currently, there is construction taking place in the Bed Bath and Beyond parking lot, by Cortez Road.
