Countryside Animal Hospital, Alachua FL

Twice I’ve tried having my grand fur baby groomed here, and twice they’ve rescheduled the appointment without proper notification. I was hoping I’d found a new vet and groomer due to a recent move, but this is not the one.

Absolutely AMAZING! Our vet closed in Sept and our 13 y/o Mollie girl needed to be seen rather quickly. I called on Friday morning and with the weekend approaching and a crazy work schedule ahead; Echo and the wonder team made every effort to get us in and seen this very morning, as a new patient! The medical staff was superb and spoke with my hubby about everything going on (even had him put me on speaker as I was at work) and kept me in the loop as well. Our gracious doc took her time, recognized and shared with us things we had noticed, but would not have thought to ask right then and there, putting my heart and mind at ease. This fine group of medical professionals are truly in a league of their own and are highly recommended. It is quite apparent they love what they do, where the work and have a devout love for animals.ps…. On Friday morning Mollie could barely walk or put any pressure on her hind leg due to a swollen and infected digit. This morning, Monday (three days later) she has no limp, zero shaking, is putting all her weight down, scratched the grass after her potty and even trotted along side me on our walk as proud as could be! Wwe had an emergency visit for our sick dog, and Dr. Shooter was so wonderful. She is gentle, kind, super knowledgeable and gave us all the options for treatment and help us choose the best route for our baby. Office is super clean and staff was great as well.

Dr. Strickland was great with our dog, Daisy, and set our minds at ease about a concern we had. We could tell she really loves animals.

We had Dr. Schuder take care of both our pets after another dog mauled them severely. Dr. Schuder was the kindest and most helpful vet I've been to. I can't say enough about how thorough and diligent she is. Thank you so much for the kindness and love you showed our two babies!

Scheduled appt and still waited for action. First time almost an hour, second time half an hour. My cat got quite nervous. And she was sneezing for 3 next days (I don't think this reaction to vaccines as prev there was none). Annual for a cat with all whistles comes to 400$ (vaccines including, and overpriced anti-tick med). Anne the tech was nice though. Doctor vet was ok too although didn't look too interested.
I'll take my business elsewhere.

UPD: mgr says their had emergency patients. They didn't while I was in, and I was in there long time both visits. They just had regular dogs. This is making me lower to 3 stars.

I arrived 15 minutes early, only to find out they didn’t actually have me scheduled. I waited an hour and 15 minutes to get in a room. The vet, while very knowledgeable, talked over me repeatedly and seemed completely uninterested in what I had to say. When recommending absolutely no tests, you would think he should have at least had all the information first. Told me we were all set only to come back and need me to take my pet back out of the carrier. Getting my cat back in the carrier a second time was no easy feat. I’m sure the vet is great but the scheduling issue (which was their fault) wasn’t handled correctly and I did not feel like me or my pet were important to the staff. They did apologize and say they would waive the office visit fee, which they didn’t.

Their staff are professional and the Dr. Was awesome and well appreciate it. The groomer listen and try to give you what you want. I do recommend this place I will definitely will bring my dog back for sure

My little guy was having an eye issue on a weekend of course, Called Country side on a Saturday morning they got us right in discussed the problem and came up with a solution right away. Thank you countryside my 1st visit but not my last

Our previous vet had recently retired and we had not found another vet yet but our dog needed to be seen quickly. We called, got next day appt. We were very pleased with the staff and appreciate them for their care and concern for our dog. We have found our forever vet care right here at Countryside Animal Hospital.

Dr. Pringle is very knowledgeable and an awesome dr. He treats my animals like they are his own.

Countryside always takes such great care of our dogs! They got us in immediately and again the very next morning to see to our pets troubles and kept her comfortable over night. Everyone in the entire office is helpful and accommodating - we love them!
