Courtney Chase Apartments, Orlando FL

Horrible customer service. No loyalty to residents who’ve been there long. I resigned a lease that I needed to get out of 2 days after signing due to a lose of employment. They tell me “sorry nothing we can do” and charge me close to $4000. Apartments are dated and filled with cockroaches.

After living in this complex for over a year I will say that there are some pros and cons to live here. I will start by saying that the Leasing Office Staff Javier and the Manager (I wish I knew her name) are amazing. Great with their costumer service and support. However, I am going to tell you that there is a lady named Lisa. If you need assistance or have questions about anything DO NOT TALK TO THIS LADY she is horrible and will either give you false information or make things seem extreme. Her attitude is very heavy and has no form of education in regards the way she express her self. Not going into detail but me and my other two roommates had very bad experiences with her, thankfully, Javier and the Manager were able to resolve our issues in a friendly, informative and educated way that made us feel welcomed.

Now, the place is very close to malls, theme parks, schools, highway’s and restaurants. Very convenient location. As for the apartment itself we rented to 3 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and is was good. However, we did ram into an inconvenience when we first moved in. What happened was that our apartment was never cleaned when the previous tenants left. After we talked to the Leasing Office they were able to have someone come over and shampooed the carpet and cleaned some areas, however, since we already had furniture in they did not wanted to clean the rooms so we ended up cleaning them ourselves.

Maintenance are very fast and will get things repaired and they do have a very friendly attitude which I loved, however, they do like to express the fault in tenants when something goes wrong. For example, our A/C had many issues and stopped working and they did fixed the issue quick but expressed that we had the A/C to low and it would continue to have this issue if we did not left it on auto and on a higher temperature level. Which this did concerned us for maintenance to say this. Also we had electricity issues and it came from the breakers and they also said that we are using to much electricity and this was causing our breaker to malfunction which then I asked if he could point out the actual factual issue which we did not get one but other than that they do get things done quick.

Neighborhood is great but slowly new tenants coming in are changing the the place smoking weed by the stairs and even loud music an night. I did talked to one tenant about the weed issue and he just smirked and continued smoking weed on his balcony like the world should rely on his addictions. One package was stolen from the front of my door which I ended up installing a Door Bell camera. After that, no packages was stolen again.

The GYM is small but had everything you need to workout and keep yourself in shape, however, I wish they could keep kids out of there as when I tried to work out we got kids playing in there and teens blasting music and taking the place as a hangout.

The complex is gated which I loved but for the time I was there the gates were malfunctioning constantly so most of the time that I lived there the gates were just opened and when they did worked the key fob they gave us stopped working so they placed shared a code on the actual box so anyone pretty much could type the code and come in. I would’ve instead shared to code with just the tenants by email, mail or paper at the tenant doors.

In the end, even all the few bad things we had the complex is great. Staffing like Javier and the manager which I wish I would remember her name made everything very favorable. Price is increasing fast and ours went up almost $600+ a month if we renewed. But this is an issue that is happening everywhere and not just here. But for the location, get yourself roommates or even couples and you will learn to love it since is very close to many places.

We had few issues for normal break downs as things wear out, they were definitely addressed promptly…

The air conditioning doesn't work well and they never really repair or replace it, the hallways are always dirty and littered, what you pay is above average and where is the quality?

The staff at Courtney Chase is amazing. They are one big family and welcome their customers and future tenants into their family unit.

It was a pleasure working with Lisa, Javier, Sarah and Michael.

Staff was very polite and helpful. This was my first experience in Florida getting my apartment and it was great. Thank you for all your help in making this possible.

Since day one this apartment office does not have there stuff together there’s never parking after 7 they said they were getting stickers Maria lady works in the front office never happened then I was 7 months pregnant I had neighbors who were smoking weed my whole apartment smelled like weed even the front office knocked on the door smelled it never did anything till I left a message saying I was going to call the police and get a lawyer 2 months later then I had a cat which I paid a deposit for and signed the maintenance people went to my apartment and said I had a cat I got an eviction letter for a cat I paid for but not for my neighbors who were smoking weed putting my pregnancy at risk I went to the office they apologized and said they don’t know why it was taken off then we move out paid everything Nicole the other lady at the office full fee everything was clear when we move get a phone call saying we owe $500 this place is a disaster then there apartment was invested with roaches there allowed to make a thousand mistakes but they quick to take your money worst place ever don’t recommend it to anyone which is why we broke the lease and left

We moved here for about almost 2 month and like since we started here the dryer it’s no working good the maintenance was came 3 times to see what’s happening and try to fixed but.nothing we need to put 80 min per driyer because it’s no heating goog.and we arevweating for a new one and nothing happpen!

Nicole was extremely kind and enthusiastic about answering our questions during the tour. She was extremely knowledgeable and even talked about the area around the apartment as well!

One of the staff named Maria had a comeplete attitude when I took my brother to the pool and said u have to leave.

It’s so awesome, beautiful and welcoming here, we absolutely love it! Both Maria and Angel in the office, have helped us tremendously and we greatly appreciate them, their professionalism, prompt responses and positive demeanor. They made our move a smooth process, and they’ve always been very supportive. Thank you so much guys for everything, you always go above and beyond the call of duty for residents. It’s truly a major blessing for us to be living here!

It’s great in the beginning they tell you everything you want to hear but they leave out important things that you need to know such as how they don’t charge you for water or trash the first 2 months so that they can charge it from your deposit when you move out. My deposit was $448.00 my refund will be $8.41 after moving out. Then I called the office asking for a breakdown and Maria the manager was great responding with “it’s pretty self explanatory but okay” maybe if I would of known in the beginning then yes but no one told me and then she said “sorry they were suppose to tell you. ” Just WOW. Heartless people once you are no longer a resident.

I am absolutely in love with this complex. Office staff I amazing, professional and always happy. Thank you Angel for your attention and great attitude. So happy to have made this move.
