Courtyard by Marriott Faro Blanco Resort, Marathon FL

Great hotel but the prices. 375.00 for a room and then charge us 20.00 per day to park the car! And an extra 30.00 per day per room "resort charge". What?

I haven't stayed here yet, but I'm excited to do so! I've been struggling to get help to figure out a reservation and Linda was so helpful. She gave me the right instructions to cancel my existing reservation. Gave me her direct line to call back and re-book with her under a wedding block. She was so helpful!

We had a lovely time at this hotel. The location is just minutes away from 7 mile bridge, rooms are spacious, breakfast is amazing. A special shout to Carlene at the bistro, she was absolutely amazing and friendly. Friendliness and great service goes a long way, we received that and just for that we will be back again. We enjoyed the amenities that the hotel offers such as corn hole, ping pong and chess. We also got a chance to make s’mores with the sunset which was absolutely beautiful with a nice breeze. Thank you for the experience. We look forward to coming back. The only downfall I would say is it was hard contacting the front desk upon arrival and also while we were in the room but other than that great time.

By far the best hotel in Marathon. Management and employees are great. You go to Marathon FL? Stay there.

Great overall experience! They offer several services that definitely justified the resort fee. Our bartender, Kyle, was excellent. The pool was very nice. The evening sunsets and their nightly Eventide events was very nice as well. The employees were all helpful and friendly. The fitness room was nice.

We enjoyed our stay. Shamica was very helpful at check in, and showed us a map of the property to help us orient ourselves. We appreciated her recognizing our status and upgrading our room. That evening we went to the bar onsite for some dinner and drinks. They have generous portions and delicious food. The next morning as we were standing in line at the Starbucks onsite, Shamica was coming into work and greeted us by name with a big smile as she was walking by.

The best hotel in the area. The rooms are very clean, the employees are very attentive. I definitely recommend it. Thank you for everything.

Very nice hotel located on Marathon Island, which is an hour drive from Key West. An island had lots of activities and restaurants.
It is the resort. Therefore, you will need to pay an additional $30 fee per room per night. The same applies for $15 parking.
The resort has two pools. One quiet pool and one Infinity pool near the bar. We mostly spent our time in Infinity pool. It is very clean with shallow and deep that is perfect for kids and adults. In the room, you will have pool towels that you will need to take to the pool.
The bar and restaurant are located near Infinity pool. They have a food menu that can be charged to your room, same a drinks. Every night, they have a sunset celebration with their special drink (do not forget to get free drinks coupons when checking in).
The resort has lots of free activities: outdoor and indoor games, movie nights, and sunset celebration. You can do smores as they have fire every night.
The variety of paid activities goes from renting jet ski or boat to cabanas, and so one, the list should be available online.
We had a room near quite pool with a view on the Gulf. The room was very large with a balcony that had chairs and table. Very comfortable memory foam beds, TV with Netflix that you need to sign in to watch your favorite shows. The bathroom was very modern, it had only one part cover with glass so after each shower, there was a lot of water on the floor. I would say, it was the only inconvenience.

We had a horrible discriminatory experience at the jet ski rental located here. It may not be part of the hotel, but it is giving it a bad reputation because it is conducting business in its grounds.

Marlon at the front desk was amazing to work with! We found ourselves in a lodging situation and he was very friendly and able to help us out.

We enjoyed this resort with many activities and amenities. Infinity pool area was our favorite, with the Blue Waters Bar close.and lounge chairs available.
Able to walk out on to the jetty area to watch the sunset and hang out on the chairs.
Great unique Celebration of Sunset with the lighting of the Torch.

Overall great stay. Beds were comfortable. Service was good but the breakfast line to order is long and slow. Service by the pool was good.

Please if you are spending your money just go to Destin or Panama city. This whole island (the keys) is not worth the random prices and fees and the food is not good destin is amazing and cheaper so is Panama city

This past weekend was my wedding at the marathon Marriott. It was a destination wedding and all of the planning was done via email or phone calls. (which can be scary when you have limited control) The outcome was what I dreamed and more. Everyone was super Amazing Kristy and Linda wedding coordinations brought my vision to life. When we arrive we had a group of 40 guests and Emma at the guest service was more than helpful to all my guest, she answered any and all questions my guest had.manager Courtney was attentive and made sure we were satisfied checking on us. The bartender yadi and two other colleagues of her made sure to keep my guest satisfied with their drinks during the week stay and during our wedding. Lastly the food was amazing leaving my guest raving about it. It was the perfect week and the perfect wedding stress free!

My family (2 adults and our baby) is staying at the Courtyard by Marriott Marathon Florida Keys for my trip to the area. I had initially planned to stay for just 2 nights, but I ended up extending my stay because I loved the hotel so much.

The hotel staff at the reception warmly welcomed me upon arrival and were attentive to my needs. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with modern decor and quality furniture. The bed was especially comfortable, allowing me to rest well after a busy day.

The hotel's location is fantastic, offering beautiful ocean views and easy access to local attractions. It gives the opportunity to explore the Florida Keys and enjoy various water activities nearby. Additionally, there are several restaurants and shops within walking distance, which is very convenient.

The hotel facilities were excellent, and I particularly enjoyed the well-maintained outdoor pool for refreshing and relaxing moments.

I highly recommend the hotel to travelers seeking quality accommodation in the Florida Keys.

Great place. I'm not sure if you can really consider this a resort. Overall the staff was friendly and the building was maintained well. The breakfast was good. The sunset view was great.

I'm a lifetime titanium guest with Marriott and have a long history with all of their brands. This was a courtyard hotel with an extra pool and pool bar. Not a resort.

It's a courtyard, stretching to get that resort room rate but not providing that resort level of service.

Was it terrible? Not at all. Was it fantastic? It was ok. Was it worth $400+ a night or about $55k points per night? Not really.

As stated, the service just wasn't there. One associate at the desk, long waits for breakfast with no mobile order options bc it's the standard courtyard recharge cafe. No bell staff, or pool cocktail staff at this location, but a resort fee of $30 and $15 parking nightly would make you think you're at a resort.

Management appeared to be shared between this courtyard and the actual namesake faro Blanco resort next door that as far as we were told, allowed no access to guests staying here.

The bay view is nice, the location is convenient, and the stay was an average courtyard stay with an extra pool that closes at sunset. Oh and the family activities? A Disney+ movie in the open air lobby, Smores you can buy for $12, and the same static scavenger hunt copy and pasted across six days. I wouldn't complain, but I also won't pay resort prices for a standard courtyard again.

Very nice Hotel with nice sunset view. The rooms were great + quiet, never had the noise between rooms that some places have + the air was quiet + nice + cool. Nice pool area + tiki bar. They do charge a daily fee for parking+ resort fee but still worth it, great location with many close by options to dine out if you choose to do so.
