7My daughter and her friends took the Babysitting Preparedness course with Nurse Sharena. We are blown away at how much she learned in a one-day lesson! She also had fun with her friends and Nurse Sharena. I highly recommend this course for your pre-teen or teenager looking to get into babysitting.
Nurse Sharena is a great instructor. She taught me CPR/AED and First Aid at the beginning of the month. I will be back in two years when my certifications expires. I highly recommend taking a class with her. You will not regret it!

I can’t recommend Nurse Sharena highly enough. She was incredibly kind and helpful during the registration process, and things only went up from there. My daughter attended the Advantage Babysitting Class for middle and high school students and LOVED it. She walked away qualified, prepared and confident to begin babysitting.
If you can, sign your child up for the six-hour course. I initially registered my tween for the four-hour class (which would have been great on its own!), but I’m so glad she ended up attending the full day. During the extra two hours, Nurse Sharena teaches them the nuts and bolts of babysitting – how much to charge, how to market your services, contact and emergency forms for the parents to fill out, what to bring to the job, age-appropriate activities, safety tips and more. Sharena shared information I never would have thought to tell my daughter. In fact, she may be more qualified than me to watch children now! Thank you, Nurse Sharena!
