Seafood Restaurant Crabs reviews
45Atmosphere was pleasant. Waitress and dining service was great. Over priced menu for the amount of food is my biggest compliant. $45 for a couple of king crab legs, two boiled potatoes and corn cob. We did say something about the portion size. Wish they did serve bigger portions like other restaurants in the area. I think we will be eating elsewhere.
WARNING used a new credit card for first time and it was scammed. I think the waitress made copy with phone. The reason why I know it was them because it was only used with them. Do not hand out your credit card to them. I talked with friends and similar things happened. Asked manager to call me No luck. Emailed them No luck and went back and waited for management No luck. I'm now letting bank fraud unit take over.
Well to start they did not have what I ordered which was the crab cake dinner so I has to order something else, so then I ordered the mixed grill, I had to send back because the grouper was not fully cooked so I had to wait fot them to re cook my meal and then it still wasn't very good, the manager never ever came to talk to us about it and no discount on the meal at all, very dissatisfied.
We went here to celebrate our 10 year anniversary, we met up with a friend and had an amazing panoramic view of the water and the sunset. Our server was so awesome, he watched our things so we didn't miss our photo chance, we had an amazing dinner! No way you can ever eat the amount of food you are served. The crab trap drink was so delicious, it's served in a huge Mason jar you get to take home! What a beautiful experience, a romantic dinner with your toes in the sand, excellent service, a beautiful sunset and nature at its best. I highly recommend Crabs.we will be going back every time we get near enough and we came from Missouri to get there.worth the drive!
Between the sand floor in the gift shop giving me a rash on my toes and the hostess not listening to my request for a table I could park my stroller at we ended up leaving. Place appears decent, however, I was so turned off by the fact that they tried to sit us at a booth where my sleeping baby would need to get out of the stroller or be very much in the way of servers carring trays we decided to leave.
I personally didn't like the atmosphere, particularly the loud music and the cheap plastic chairs. We were trying to have a nice dinner on the patio, but there were four obnoxiously filthy-mouthed loud "ladies" drinking next to us.
The snapper portion was large, but it tasted like the grill needed cleaning. The smashed potatoes were a lump. My fancy strawberry drink lacked alcohol. I was NOT impressed with my $40 meal. I won't be back.
The beach ambiance was well worth the five stars. Dont go expecting spectacular food though- mac and cheese is probably the best thing on the menu. Expect to pay alot for "meh" food, but it's truly one of the best places to have some brews. If your hungry, eat somewhere else and then come over for some beers. Wait staff is pretty incredible. Great people, fun and real to talk to!
The food was good, waiter was friendly and helpful with my special dietary needs. Price was about what you would expect for a tourist area.
Samual at the outside bar tonight 9/30/18 is awesome! He was entertaining, helpful and overall a great bartender/server! Will definitely be back next time we are in town. Hopefully he will be our server!
Great place to eat and relax. The food, service and drinks were excellent. We sat outside on the 2nd floor. Nice cool breeze with a great view of the beach and gulf.
Great crab claws, but crab legs were rotten texture that day with a tanish color even it should have been pinkish.but I bet if I went back tomorrow I'd get a better batch
The worst sevice on the beach, warm beer cold food and unprofessional staff, I would have to have no where else to eat before I come here,
We came here for a rehearsal dinner. The food was great, the view can't be beat, and the service was wonderful.
The view saves this place. Without it there would be nothing. Benches were awfully uncomfortable. Service was average. $40 dollar crab plate left me quite Hungry afterwards but it was tasty. Overall I spent 90 dollars for 1 entree and an appetizer with drink/ tip. $90 gets you more at just about any of the other beach restaurants.
Our server was Jordan and we enjoyed the service, friendliness and his food recommendations! Good food, nice atmosphere and cool views.
The food was great, they had souvenir drink glasses, and the staff was friendly. Twas somewhat expensive though.
I had the fish tacos and they were SO GOOD. Really friendly service, great place to go after spending the day at the beach.
Was good, kind of disappointed in only 2 types of crab offered, snow and king. Would have liked to see at least Blue and Dungeness.
Great food. The only thing was paper straws. Our 3 year old granddaughter couldn't figure it out. About half way through our visit, she finally got a plastic straw.
I would rate this place as negative 10 stars! Filthy inside, rude host stuff (I mean they act like it's honor for me to be here), greasy, fat, overpriced food. We ordered a soup and boiled shrimps, it took them a solid 30 min to serve it. I didn't find anything that was positive about this place.
