Horrible service, ever worse food, am a local and have seen food and service go down hill consistently over past couple of year, only good thing I can say is the store has a lot of cool gifts.
Parking was easy. No wait to be seated. Food was served hot and fresh. Server was attentive and pleasant.
I ordered carryout, after about 45 mins of waiting for my food, I called inside. Apparently my food was just sitting there, it's just noone brought it out to me. Food was good but cold. Carryout service not so good.
That old Cracker Barrel atmosphere has changed considerably.
The food quality has severely diminished to a point where it’s no longer enjoyable, and portion sizes have greatly decreased.
It’s sad to say that I will no longer visit Cracker Barrel for the food, but will only visit for its country store.
Ordered my mom dinner for Thanksgiving the food (country fried turkey) was so dry and the seeet potatoe was burnt. The apple pie crust was under cooked and dough on top was uncooked also 70.00. The second meal was meatloaf was very good.
Took about 10 minutes to get waited on. Placed our order, and it came out missing one side. Steak was ordered medium well and you guessed it, it came out burned and the mash potatoes came out cold. Replacement steak cook and strike two. Well done again. Slow to get refills here too. Should have gone elsewhere.

Went at a less crowded time, so it was kinda quiet. Great server and tried the Southern Supper Shrimp. Was good, brought some home. Always like the Cracker Barrels, the Christmas stuff was in the store, so it was a nice atmosphere.
Worst experience I have ever had at a cracker barrel was sat down like normal and then was left there for 20 minutes not a single waiter or waitress approached me they sat people on both sides of me and got there drinks before me and not one had asked if I was being helped the floor manager in this time has came out twice and even made eye contact with me and said nothing. It wasnt until i got up and went to front that he finally approached and asked if I was ok completely unbelievable.
