Crème de la Cocoa, St. Augustine FL

Got a 6 inch red velvet cake and it was amazinngggggg! Very rich and authentic. Will be getting my cakes here from now on. The shop its self is very welcoming and spacious.

Creme de la Cocoa is definitely a hidden treasure located in St. Augustine. I was searching for a local bakery that can make our wedding cake for our reception and as I was googling I stumbled upon this magical place! I inquire in regards about scheduling a cake tasting and they responded quick and answered all my questions.
They are conveniently located on the other side of St. Augustine but don't worry they are not far from downtown St. Augustine, I love the fact that they are on the other side because they have enough space for parking and i do not have to fight for my spot unless they are super busy.
As we walk inside, our jaw dropped.the presentation of all the goodies they offer was well planned. On the right corner they have this very cute area where you can buy other goodies (cards, birthday cards, candles, towels and many other things). I feel like I was a kid in Disney world when I entered Creme de la coca. I was happy and I just want to try everything! They have chocolate croissants, sticky buns, different cookies, cakes, chocolate, marshmallows, ice cream and many more!
As per our cake tasting we ordered 6 flavors: German chocolate cake, Florida Native, Strawberry Shortcake, Caramel Crunch, Peanut butter and Tiramisu. Ya'll I planned on getting 2 tier cake but after trying all the flavors I want to change it to 5 tier LOL.all the cakes was moist and full of flavors and you can actually taste the ingredients that they put. Surprisingly, my favorite was Florida Native, it's a yellow cake with zested orange buttercream, strawberry puree and it has key lime pie! When I tried it I knew that was the one!
I can write a 10 page review on our experience at Creme de la Cocoa but all I can say is Chef Nills and his employee made us realized we wanted to get our desserts here. Everything was perfect and Chef Nills made sure that he delivers what his customer wants. I rave about this place and we are now a loyal customer to this amazing place!

Driving along, wife announces the need for a coconut cream pie. I’m in, I now have the need. I’ve always said Pavlov wasn’t really a genius.

Hmm. She mentions the place, ya know, the side street into town. Ok that’s perfectly clear. I go into wife decipher mode.

We’ve eyed Crème up from across the way, wondering. And here we are.

The building is easy to spot, painted in a lovely shade of cocoa. Plenty of easy parking, couple of outside benches.

I was waiting in the car and then got the call, you need to come in.lol. Hmm.

Walking in I was greeted by a middle of the room glass case, cheesecakes were right there. I MEAN right there! Oh baby, I did the loop, cookies, cake, macaroons, cheeeeeesecake.

Oh yeah the place was immaculate, the staff was welcoming. The snickers cheesecake though.

I went snickers cheesecake, chocolate chip cookie, and she got truffle white chocolate things, and another cheesecake.

The truffle things were gone before we left the lot. Love white “chocolate”. Not debating whether it’s chocolate or not.lol.

The cookie? The cheesecake? Yeah. Should have taken a picture.

I’ve been told Christmas cakes, German chocolate and something else has been ordered. I nodded my pleasure.

It’s a go to place, and they do have seating, and coffee. Do it!

Our wedding cake from Creme de la Cocoa was just as delicious as it was adorable! They were absolutely wonderful to work with, communication was easy from beginning to end and they delivered exactly what we wanted and more! It was truly the cherry on top!

We just had Crème de la Cocoa provide our wedding cake and desserts and they were amazing! We had guests with special dietary needs (vegan, gluten free, etc.) and they were not only able to accommodate, but all of our guests were absolutely raving about the vegan options we had! Our cake turned out beautifully and our vision for it was executed perfectly, and it was so tasty! We also had macarons, truffle favor boxes, and dessert shooters and everyone kept raving about how amazing the desserts were. Coming back here on future trips to St. Augustine is going to be such a wonderful reminder of our wedding. Everything was executed perfectly and without a hitch, despite me also throwing a relatively last-minute design change in the works about 3 weeks before our wedding date, which Brooke handled with grace and enthusiasm - much appreciated coming from an at-the-time overwhelmed bride. Thank you so much, Crème de la Cocoa team! You were an absolute joy and made our wedding so fun and wonderful! We cannot recommend you enough!

Crème de la Cocoa is surely the Cream of the Crop when it comes to wedding cakes and desserts in the St. Augustine area. Everything they make is delicious, and Brooke and Bailey and their team are incredibly excited to help make your ideas come to life! We sent them our ideas and they helped bring them to life, and made everything so easy with our desserts and favors. They even offer a complimentary anniversary cake, which we can't wait to get next year!

Ordered 10 dessert shots and it made a great ending to our family dinner. The kids were so happy with trying different tastes. Thank you!

This is a very special place to come in St. Augustine. They have the most incredible sweets and the staff is always very lovely. Bailey and Nils are doing such a great job as owners. You can’t go wrong with anything in the shop

Creme de la Cocoa provided cakesicles for our wedding. We wanted something a little different and our guests loved this dessert. We had a great experience at our tasting and were wowed by the flavors the team created. The final cakesicles were beautiful and our guests thought they were wonderful. A local spot for deliciousness and decadence. Across the street from Dos Coffee and Wine. Street parking is first come, first serve. An overflow parking lot is adjacent to the entrance.
