Crocs at Vero Beach

Hmm, so two things that I’d like to share. Two days before Christmas, my husband and I went to this store and purchased over $500 worth of crocs, and charms. While going over my receipt, I noticed that the very first item wasn’t in our possession, neither does anyone in our family wears that size. Fine, we go back to the store and we’re refunded (I’m still uncomfortable about that, cause what if I wasn’t someone who checked receipts).

We made more purchases that day, and fast forward to a week later January 2,2022 & 1 pair of crocs was too big for someone we got as a gift, so we decided to take it back to get the correct size. Before leaving home (PALM BEACH!) I personally checked the website for closing hours, and it stated they close at 7PM on Sunday’s. I even double checked by calling the store, as they’re located all the way in Vero Beach, and listened to the recording with the store hours where it clearly stated that they close at 7 PM.

My husband, and I got to the store at 6: 23 PM and the door was locked. The woman who I believe to be the manager told my husband that they’re closed and she has already turned off the machine. Even though he explained to her that he’s coming all the way from PALM BEACH, and all he needed was to change the size of the shoe (no monetary transaction would be involved). She flat out told him no.

I would NEVER tell anyone to shop at this location EVER. If we got there past 7PM, I’d understand but we got there before 6: 30 PM, and we were denied. If I hadn’t given away the stuff for gifts, I’d return every single one of them.

Went in for my birthday and inquired about two strap sandals which weren’t available so i chose a new clog, the jibbitz were buy three get one free, i chose 8 but three were in a pack, i didn’t realize the packs of jibbitz weren’t on the promo and wasn’t told so. I felt somewhat rushed during my shopping there was three employees following me around and one at the counter. They ended up letting me be, but stood right behind me in a circle taking really loud about personal things i felt uncomfortable hearing from employees supposedly working. The older woman at the register asked me to donate to some cause for fighting hunger, i declined and she said “wow, ok” then whispered to her coworker making me feel very very uncomfortable. I went back in after i saw i didn’t get the deal on jibbitz but i was told it was too late. So i paid full price for 8 jibbitz and was made to feel uncomfortable on my birthday while spending over $100. Also wanted to purchase a jibbitz set on a shoe and was told no when i purchased them directly off of a shoe in the ft lauderdale store.

This is a very clean store, with friendly helpful staff, but they were out of my size (women's 8) in a lot of the colors and styles I liked, so I was a bit disappointed.

Prices appeared to be normal retail but a very nice store with way more selection than at a typical store made it worth the trip and money. Bought two pair which does give a price break. Lol

Very helpful, friendly, and courteous staff. We called the store recently regarding several questions about an item and a coupon, and the young woman I spoke with was both friendly and considerate, also very understanding and went the extra mile to help us with our concerns regarding the coupon.

Always have a good experience in the store. Good selection on shoes and sizes and the staff is always welcoming.

Crocs is similar to Nike in appearance, but it's alot different. Crocs is best known for making clogs, sneakers, sandals, and other footwear. And believe it or not, I'm a huge fan of Crocs!
