Crowne Plaza Jacksonville Airport/I-95N, an IHG Hotel reviews
20This was one of the worst hotels I stayed in ever! Dirty and disgusting. The tube looked as if it was not cleaned in a while. The bathroom counter was filthy. Dust everywhere. The room, the building is run down. Yall I.nTrouble or something. Please do better. I won't be returning.
First of all let me say that my experience at Crown plaza Airport was one of the best. I had already had a rough day New years eve 2021 after a long 15hr drive Stacy at front desk made it all go away. She was friendly, understanding, and did it all will a smile and awesome attitude. 5 star customer service. We will definitely be returning.
Very nice and cozy only thing the carpet in the room. Aslo the shower wasn't adjustable but overall amazing beds were very comfortable
Paulean was fantastic. Professionalism above the rest. Very polite & positive. Checking in and out was a breeze with her. Makes you want to come back just for her demeanor. Hotel was clean and I can't wait to see the new renovations next month. C u on next trip.
Beware. Nice rooms. Not great, but nice. Breakfast bar staff is amazing. They're so awesome. Front desk is another story. If you in on business, DO NOT give them your debit card. They will charge your card. It will take a few days to get back to you.
Check in was fine!
That hallways smell like dogs have used it as an outhouse! The beds are verrrryyy uncomfortable! There is stains everywhere in the room and there were spots that weren’t clean!
I will never stay at a Crowne Plaza again! Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to stay.
We stayed in the tower that hadn't been renovated yet. It wasn't that bad. The bed though, I literally slept like a log. So it's got that going for them lol
Great location, especially for work - easy on/off of I95. Excellent breakfast and dinner - Melinda makes you feel right at home.
Front desk was polite. Said rooms have recently been updated. I'm not sure. But clean.
Breakfast was great. Melinda and Oneida were personable and helpful.
We've thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Crowne Plaza in Jax. The front desk staff are super friendly, rooms are spacious and clean with nice beds and towels. But the most notable effort is the staff at the Starbucks 1822 breakfast bar Melinda is so very helpful and courteous each morning as we go by to grab a bite. She, along with the other staff have made all the difference in us wanting to continue to return. Thanks Crowne Plaza, you are five stars in our book!
We had a room that was in Tower 1 that has not been remodeled yet, so was a bit on the outdated side. It was clean though! The staff was very friendly and helpful!
Melinda at the Starbucks Cafe is exceptional. Her contagious friendly and outgoing personality is sure to brighten your day.
Lovely place to stay in, brand new gym with lots of space to work out, huge restaurants to have fun and dinner, i didn't stay long enough to experience the restaurants, modern and well decorated
Lacking a few things, a half renovated hotel. Noisy air conditioners, noisy halls, and no tonic at the bar. Staff was absolutely awesome, especially Colleen.
Great staff nicely welcomed when I arrived. The location is within less than 10 minutes from JAX airport that was my reason for staying. It is actually closer but the problem is that if you're heading to the airport you're forced to make a right turn on Airport road and head east to the I95 under path and make U turn. The hotel has a decent bar and dining area on the first floor. It is a large hotel and had 3 towers to stay. The pool area is very nice and is pretty big.
The room I slept in was fine and comfortable enough for me. The theme tho is kind of antique and the dark color make the room dark and boring. Bed was comfortable but felt it kind of short for a king size, my feet where hitting the edge of it and I'm only 5"9. I have a king size myself and me feet don't reach the edge ️. As always IHG has the best pillows ever. I'm side sleeper I'm very picky with pillows IHG never has failed me here. The AC still one of those large rectangular you're use to in hotel but it can be control from the wall.
I'm an Spire Elite member of IHG and travel often. From the IHG chain for some reason the Crown Plaza hotels I stayed in the US are all in the need of remodel this one definitely need one. I can speak for tower 1 which is where I stayed I don't know about the other two. I stayed in Crown Plaza plaza overseas and that was totally a different experience. Overall is not bad hotel for short stay, the convenience of accessible bar and restaurant, proximity to the airport and excellent staff will make this good choice.
We celebrated a birthday party in there ballroom. The food was awesome, service great and the staff and management very attentive to the guests. Loved it!
They care about clean remotes, but not the pillows. I've stayed here a couple of times, but usually I stay in the tower furthest from check-in. This time I asked for a room in the check in building (thinking that those rooms were renovated first surely). WRONG. The room smelled of smoke and perfume to cover ot. Dirty. I mean every pillow was stained and the stain could be seen thru pillowcase). I had the worst night's sleep with smoke and sleeping on my sweatshirt for a pillow. Never again. That's just cheap and bad housekeeping. There's no telling what was on the mattresses. Next day checked into Hyatt.totally different sleep!
Things that I hated
1. The restaurant “1882” or whatever it’s called. They didn’t have the only item wanted, took forever to try to order, then told that.had to walk to a restaurant.
2. A little run down all the lamp shades in hallway to room were smashed, room had a old smell.
3. No jacuzzi
4. No free breakfast, it’s some s**t Starbucks bar with over priced food. Just gonna walk in the rain to Waffle House.
Things I liked
1. Big newer TV
2. Location
3. Customer Service
4. Price
With a little update, a better restaurant, a jacuzzi and complimentary breakfast I’d give it 5 stars. Many hotels I’ve been to have been the same cost or less with these features
Love staying here. I really appreciate the hotel staff wearing masks. The food is good and staff is polite and professional.
I will not go into specifics but I will never go back to this hotel. I asked the front Desk to look at cameras for me since I left my wallet at the counter and no one has called me back. Not ok.
