Crowne Plaza Melbourne-Oceanfront, an IHG Hotel

Was attending a wedding at the Crown. The presentation of food and service was spectacular! The hor derves were delicious and well represented!
The dinner and facilities were absolutely stunning!
A perfect wedding or celebration would be a location!

The view is amazing, the in-house restaurant is delicious and the rooms are pretty nice. I got a balcony that wasn't ocean facing, but you can absolutely see the ocean from it anyway. Crack the door on the balcony and hear the waves rolling in. I'll definitely be back here! ️

A big disappointment. I should have gone to a Dive bar and then stayed someplace else.
The "resort" was a big bar party with some hotel rooms.
Facilities were unusable. The restaraunt was right next to party central. Virtually no one ate in there.
I chose the worst weather day.but go outside in the wind and rain to get to your room elevator?

Beautiful location to stay or just drop in for beachfront bar and music. Good food, great view.

Very disappointed. For what we paid, it should have been way better.
1. Our room was dirty upon arrival, and we were a late checkin. 830pm.
The floor was sticky and left our feet black. I now have a white pair of socks that ate no longer white.
It had not been vacuumed, swept nor mopped. There were spill stains on the floor from the door to the balcony door. *pics posted.
2. The shower if resting and falling apart. *pics posted.
3. Our room key is supposed to open the exterior door, but did not ever work. The front desk clerk, when we told her it didn't work, said "what do you mean? "

We ate lunch here today. Service and drinks at the bar were great - food, not so much. Fries were cold and tasted old, as did the sandwich bun. Exactly how I remembered it from 7 years ago. Won’t be back.

Nice place to celebrate a special occasion. The food n cash bar take the pressure off of the host. It allows everyone to visit/socialize. Also helps when people pay from wasting acholic beverages and takes the responsibility to the one indulging.

Pleasant beachside hotel. Clean. Friendly staff and a wonderful (if slightly crowded) stretch of beach. Restaurant is a little pricy but the food is good and the occasional live bands are usually quite good.

Stayed four nights. Reserved room with view, was okay, over a roof. Better to pay extra and get ocean front. Room was clean and mid-visit housekeeping service was prompt.
Just a sad series of little things. Have a shuttle within five mile radius, need to get a pager for the driver, have no way to contact him. He was nice and helpful. Did get late checkout, but, didn't update key cards, back down to the desk. Housekeeping didn't know had late checkout, pounded on door. Lovely oceanfront location.

Beach, pool, bar and grill. It’s a one stop shop for us that enjoy a Harley ride to the destination and camp out till the next day. Great headquarters when doing other events around town.

Jill at the front desk was really rude when I checked in. They wanted $188 to book for one night. I went to my phone and booked for $155. Came back in and told Jill, she seemed irritated with me and was just plain rude. After searching for my room for about 15 Minutes I finally went back and Sandy directed me where to go nicely. The room was outdated, no parking spaces on the end I booked. The pool was cold, not heated, no hot tub. No places to sit at the pool. You have to pay for chairs on the beach. The only thing nice about this place is the entertainment outside and bar staff. This is my second time staying. There are humidifiers in every room, because obviously it's old. The first time staying, the humidifier flooded or entire kitchen. This will definitely be my last stay here.

Always take good care of me but when did they get rid of the hot tub and fill in the whole thing?

Beautiful ocean view from the room. The room was adequate but not as detailed as some less expensive properties. Staff was extremely friendly, the cooked to order complimentary breakfast was above average.

Update and changed rating: Cody (manager) made sure we were satisfied and apologized for the inconvenience. Other than the noise, the place was beautifully situated on the beach, staff was friendly, place was clean and restaurant on site had amazing food especially for a complimentary breakfast.

Stay was for a week. Was not informed of remodeling during checkin and had to deal with constant banging above our room the entire time. No substitute room with same accommodations. Will not stay here again!

$218.00 plus parking being extra is bs. Yes this place has a lot of event and gatherings for special occasions but the parking fee is stupid when you can't park. People coming for gathering need a parking lot for them if I got to pay for parking. If I stay again I'll park in the front lobby that's worth $11 parking. Again $218 for a room in the dungeon area no water view nothing. Will not happen again. Over priced because it's all about the money

I don’t recommend staying here. Front desk has horrible service. We got here Thursday & our room had no a/c it was broken we slept like that & we called to switch us over & they kept telling us they were going to have someone fix it. They came the first time & it didn’t work we called again and instead of switching us rooms they told us they were going to send someone up again i told them no that we paid money the fact we didn’t sleep ok we needed to be switched. So they switched us to a smaller room. Lol & on top of that only offered us free vouchers to cheap breakfast. Afterwards we come back to our room Saturday night and there no parking because they had a party and there was literally no parking it was 9pm at night we were exhausted and had to look for parking for at least 45min this is just not ok. We’re guest PAYING to stay at this hotel. Sunday comes for our checkout we call ask for a late checkout they told us they can extend it for 30min only… & they were extremely rude after called the night before to ask late check out no one answered. They tell us today only 30min. This place has horrible service. They only accommodate those they want too or feel like. Don’t recommend this place.

This is a fun place place to hang out on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon. They usually have a live band. Rock and role, oldies.it can get a little pricey as a couple. $$

Ariel the outside bartender did a fantastic job tending to our party! We highly recommend not only just her but this fantastic venue as well.

Beautiful, I was in a remodeled and room and WOW it was amazing. Definitely recommend. Staff was friendly as well
