Crunch Fitness - Oakland Park

The moment I had entered the facility for the first time I was greeted by Nick Smith, Manager on Duty, and Samantha Chin-Grant, NASM certified trainer. Both were very professional and congenial and answered all my questions. The facility was spacious and machines were spread apart. It had plenty of cleaners available and the locker rooms were tidy. Plenty of parking.

This gym is very clean, the staff is very educated and the trainers are awesome. They have good classes too.

Probably the nicest and most friendly gym I have ever been a member of. The facility is kept in great condition and the staff continues to exceed my expectations. I feel comfortable and very happy coming here everyday to get a great workout. Recommend to any person with any level of lifting experience!

Place is a joke that makes up their own rules as they wish. Avoid at all costs. Just moved to Florida and looking for a new gym. Arrived with a one day trial pass (as I’ve done at several area gyms) and was told I could not use it unless I had a Florida ID. I would have brought proof of my new residence if this rule was stated anywhere on the pass, website, text messages, or emails I received. Wasted my morning and a lot of time on this place. You’ll be hearing from me!

Great gym with nearly everything you need. Friendly staff. Just becareful with personal items in locker room. History of theft from lockers.

I took Haly’s 9 snd 10AM Classes. Both are amazing. Excellent flow from one station to the next. She is a great instructor, snd the gym itself is great too.

Great environment, great trainers and the exercise machines are constantly being updating. Steve always treats his guest as family.great place to workout

Living in Fort Lauderdale, this is the closest Crunch to me and I chose it over other chain gyms closer to me for its free weight availability and low cost. I've never had an issue with other members and equipment is shared in a reasonable manner. Class schedule is decent and manageable. For the price, I don't think it can be beat.

A fantastic gym with lots of state of the art equipment (much of it I had never seen before) and cross fit type classes. It is very spacious unlike LA Fitness which tries to squeeze every piece of equipment in that it can. The location is not the best but well worth the drive to get there. And the staff was FABULOUS with their knowledge and enthusiasm. The first visit is free so definitely check it out. I am almost tempted to give it 5 stars but I don’t go above 4 stars for anything but heaven itself!

This Crunch is located in a low income, high crime ghetto just northwest of Fort Lauderdale. I mention this because you know the members here are here to seriously work out and are not plastic people like you find at my Crunch on Sunset Blvd in LA. On the plus side this gym is huge and they have a lot of equipment. This makes it so much easier because you are not always bumping into people. The staff seemed nice. The crowd is very diverse and the gym appears welcoming to all.

Very friendly staff, always greeting you at the door, and as you leave. Friendly vibe from members who workout here - very gay positive environment. Easy to make new friends, if you want to be social. A variety of equipment to chose from to do your workout.

Good setup, well priced, good set of amenities. Always about 30% full around the regular working hours

Okay so this gym is actually a great value and the folks who work there are great too. However, the fitness classes are often different than what is posted on the web page and Android App, and their telephone number is hooked up to the fax machine so instead of a person answering the phone, you get your eardrums busted and you never know when the classes are. Other than that, they are great.

GREAT GYM! I am straight and I saw the other reviews but I have not had a problem. I was able to cancel my membership without any problem and I love using the tanning booth. I enjoy the cross fit and this is probably the best gym I been to. What could make it better is if they had longer hours.

I moved and cancelled my membership. Crunch put me into collections and hit my credit report. Don't go here they will ruin your credit!

Great gym! They keep the place super clean and organized. The staff greets you when you walk in and is always helpful. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

If you are a straight man you probably do not want to go here. It seems to me it's a completely gay gym. Not that there's anything wrong with that. Lol

This gym is great if you plan on making this your gym forever. If you plan on cancelling - good luck. Their system is crazy, worse than any other gym I've ever been to. I highly recommend finding another gym, any other one to be precise. I wish I never joined such a sketchy gym.
