First of all I’d like to say that I have a Gheenoe dealer right in my backyard less than a couple of miles from me. After having dialogue with the “Gheenoe Girl” Allisha @Crystal River Marine. It was apparent that I was going to have to make the nearly 2hr drive to have her custom craft my LT25 because she outshined all others in her field. She listened to what I wanted in my “Lil Miss Muffet” and made some recommendations as we tweaked her to make exactly what I envisioned! Everybody did a great job with rigging and all the attention to detail that it took. I have been wanting to leave this review for a number of months now, but I’ve been too busy catching fish and having a blast!

Crystal river marine gets 4 stars.
Xtreme boats gets 1 star.
First off had high hope's for purchase of 1860 brute with deposit down for a qualifier ride.
Let's start off with the good.
Welds looked good. Boat was beefy.
Now the bad.
2×4 sized bench seat a kid couldn't sit on and manufacturer refused to replace with a proper bench seat. Raised hatch covers on rod storage lockers, what's that about.
I guess something to trip over.
Strike one
Throttle to close to steering wheel.
Strike 2
Boat was the hardest launching boat I've ever seen.
Threw 2 ft of water over transom backing off. That's with manufacturers own trailer
Strike 3
Boat porpoises like crazy with both captain and me in back.
He moved up front and I ran boat and we kept blowing out with jack plate up or down. That's with motor in neutral position.
4 blade honda prop.

Nowhere on xtreme boat site does it show their under deck build. Makes ya wonder what is there.
No option to put fuel tank in front. Really.
We cut test ride short and I left with deposit in hand.
Dealer and Captain were very good but boat manufacturer needs to get with the program.
I had high hopes of buying from a Florida manufacturer but to many issues with this boat builder.

My husband and I bought a new 16' Rabco Bucaneer, motor, trailer and accessories at Crystal River Marine last April 31st, 2022. There were many issues with the gel coat that included blisters, bubbling and chipping. We discovered this while washing and maintaining the hull. For 2 1/2 months our boat sat on their lot while the service manager lied to us about his attempts to remedy the problem. We have these lies in texts from the service manager as proof. We were told to take our boat and go when we confronted the owner with the lies. We will never do business at CRM again. They are happy to sell you a boat but don't want to provide warranty service.

I have stored my boat there for years and have had all service and maintenance performed there for at least 8 years. I have been very pleased with the knowledgeable, fair and friendly service. The people have always been eager and quick to help. Until something changes, I will have all boat related activity performed there.

I originally contacted Chrystal river marine looking for a Gheenoe. They had one in stock, but not the size I was looking for. I noticed on their website they sold Xtreme boats and I had read a few reviews on how well they were maid so I drove 50 miles to take a look. I was impressed with the appearance of the the boat. And was also thinking of buy a welded aluminum boat. I ended up purchasing the boat and have been pleased with it so far. The price was very fair and the sales rep Kevin was a pleasure to work with. The extreme boat hatch doors make a lot of noise on the water, but with the addition of some rubber trim around the edges of the doors the ride is very quiet now. I had many questions as I owned the boat and did not hesitate to call Chrystal river marine. They always were friendly and helped me with anything I needed. I needed a 20hr.service on my motor and didn't want to drive 50 miles to have it done.so i called a place in Palm harbor and the price was totally ridiculous. Plus I would have had to wait a week or more to have it done. (I wanted to go fishing). I called Chrystal river and talked to Rich, He scheduled me for the next day, and the the mechanics finished my boat within 2 hrs. Everyone I've talked to at Chrystal river marine has been very friendly and helpful. From now on I will not hesitate to drive 50 miles too Chrystal river marine, they have been nothing but great! Thanks you to all the employees at Chrystal river marine!
