CubeSmart Self Storage, Altamonte Springs FL

Do NOT rent a storage unit from CubeSmart if you don’t want to pay an arm and a leg for a tiny unit. In only a couple years of renting, my rent price went up over 100%! From $65 to $150. When I called to ask about that and possibly move to a different storage facility I was met with some pushback and no responses. But they made sure to notify me that the price would increase regularly. Go somewhere else if you don’t want to waste your money.

We drove a very long distance.and it was an extremely stressful day to begin with.
BUT. I had the pleasure of dealing with Maritza and Michelle while I was there.

They were so great to me and my 2 children. They showed us in person where our unit was going to be. And their personalities were so upbeat and so sweet.it was almost like a family feel to it all.
I felt it was in a good area. It feels safe. And I am happy with this location.

Maritza was amazing. I called and made a reservation bam done.
Extremely easy. Showed up at the property and it was clean and secured. Maritza showed me the unit. She knew the perfect size for my storage needs. She explained Cube's policy and access hours. Maritza was professional and had a great sense of humor. Her experience and knowledge made my move that much easier. Maritza thank you for making everything so easy and fun.

I have to say that first of all, I didn’t get the cube in the location that I wanted even though I verified it with Brett, the person I was talking with online! I wanted the facility in Winter Springs but was put in a place 2 towns over in Altamonte Springs! Not happy about that!
Once we got there I ran into the nicest woman who showed me where my unit was and how to work the lock. She was very nice and helpful. It was also very clean which was nice

CubeSmart is a great place, the service was great, the unit was great, it was clean, and secure. The only complaint is the overall cost and the way it increased so frequently. However, if someone is okay with that it's a great place.

First of all, thanks to Maritza, she was so kind to us in this location, I honestly felt very welcome from the moment I entered, it was the best experience for the first time I rented a storage unit, she guided us and took us step by step, always so kind and understanding. Despite another location I went to and they didn't treat us better, I certainly felt much better here. Thank you Maritza

I found the company to be cheaper than other area facilities that weren't even climate controlled. Everything was done online from the reservation process to confirming and paying for the unit. I was able to change unit sizes once I realized the one I originally got wasn't going to be big enough for everything I had. I was able to make the change without any issues or having to pay anything additional that same day which was a humongous help considering how much it costs to move to begin with. I had to go into the office to sign a couple of things, but I was already going to the facility anyways so that was no big deal. I met with the store manager, Maritza, who made the additional stop into the office well worth it! She knows true customer service which can sometimes be hard to find these days and the company is lucky to have her. I have only ever had to use storage facilities twice before and this is the only one that I would ever recommend to my friends or family. Moving is stressful enough and being in the "if it can go wrong it will" category at least I know I chose the right place to store all my stuff!

The customer service was great. It was really easy to open a new account and switch to a smaller unit. The gentleman behind the counter did an excellent job. Keep up the great work!

Excellent place, excellent treatment, the people are very friendly. Especially the manager Maritza.

My experience has always been extremely positive. The units are clean and spacious. I don’t have any concerns about the safety of my items. Most of all the customer service is amazing. Maritza is phenomenal and super helpful. I had so much fun talking to her I didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend cubesmart for your storage needs.

8/31/13 Update: I’m back again with an update. I moved out of my previous storage unit, but a recent life change required me to get another unit. The overall quality of my last experience was so amazing that I did not consider storing my items at any other place. Another great perk of returning to cube smart was working with Maritza again. It was amazing to experience her wonderful customer service and beautiful personality again.
