Culver’s, Melbourne FL

This is the third time that I have been to this location right at 9PM and was told that we could not dine in and the custard machine was already shut off. The first two times a male manager told us that they were short staffed and didn’t have enough employees to keep the dinning room open (Meanwhile as our order is being made they are cleaning). This time as we approach the door at 9: 05 there was about 6-7 team members conversating as they were wiping tables down. We walked in and was asked if we wanted to dine in or take out, we said dine in and the gentlemen taking our order stated he messed up and the dining room was actually closed. After going back and forth for a bit explaining this is a reoccurring issue I asked for a manager, the manager came and then told me they closed the dining room at 9 because sometimes people take long to eat and a lot of the team members have school the next morning. As a business owner it appears to me that your employees at this establishment are more worried about hurying up to close to go home for school, rather than preforming the job they were hired to do. This happening 3 times not only makes me feel not welcomed at this establishment but also disrespected. Especially after being told by the young man taking my order that I was free to eat on the patio as it was pouring down rain outside. He then after stated he forgot it was raining. I have been to several other locations and this has never been an issue elsewhere. If the lobby closes at 9 there should be something stating that on the door, not having your hours say 10. The manager then allowed us to dine in but then told the couple right behind us they couldn’t. At that point I didn’t even feel welcomed nor want to even eat there due to the entire staff then conversating about the entire issue with each other. Management isn’t doing to well if you ask me.

Their burgers are the best and ice cream. My grandson told me about Culver's one of his visits from Pa to Fl. Been going back on occasion if we are in area. Cement mixers are yummy too.

Possibly the best experience I’ve had at any restaurant, ever. The employee by the name of Manvith Dantenini especially made me feel like I was at home and provided the most amazing customer service I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing. He single handedly raised the animals, planted the plants, made the ingredients, cooked the food, and served it all in the span of 10 minutes, all with a smile on his face. He truly is the pinnacle of a good employee and deserves any and all raises and promotions available to him.

A bit disappointed with the burger. WAY too much mayo overpowered the sandwich and lukewarm temperature.

I like going to Culvers. Great food! I Love the Cod Fish Platers. Ice Cream custard Shakes. Everything! Is soooooo Delicious! Go to one you will keep going to eat all their Yummy Food! Thank you Culver's!

I don't know what happened to this location. It USED to be good. Now, burgers are always cold. Fries are disgusting and today, had a nice long hair melted into the cheese on my burger. Absolutely disgusting! Will not come back and do not recommend this location at all.

They're strawberry. Milkshake is very good. But I don't know about $4.20 good for the size cup that they give you. It is very small. It's so small. The places that are selling small shakes are saying dang. That's a small cup

This location is great. The food hits the spot when you’re on a long trip and service is fast even during lunchtime.

Waited way too long for our ice cream when they weren't busy. When it arrived, at our table they couldn't tell us which item was which. Manager did nothing to assist.

Waited in line for over 10 mins for my melted custard with barely any toppings. There were only 2 cars ahead of me, so no excuse to be waiting for this amount of time just to receive poorly made custard. There were several workers standing there doing nothing. Extremely disappointed. Would recommend going to any other Culver’s.

We've been coming here for several years.it's really become quite bad over the last year. The restaurant is always very dirty.the floor, the tables, the bathroom.all disgusting. The quality of the food has also declined over the years. Very disappointing.

I have always had good experience with Culver's. This is my first time actually going into a Restaurant. I have always done drive- thru. The person taking my order was kind enough.

11: 30am on Sunday.the place was already filthy. How is this possible, they had only been open for an hour or less and not even lunch rush. My feet stuck to the floor near the register, had to pull my shoes up it was that sticky. The drink and napkin area was covered in trash, spilled condiments. It was hard to find a clean table to sit at, there was food and trash on the floor. Looked a bit like a hurricane had blown through. While the food has always been pleasant, my fries were a bit soggy and undercooked. I hope this is a one off, I was really disappointed, this was a tough review to do.
I will stick to the drive-thru, and doublecheck my fries before I go.

Typical Culver's. Pretty good fast casual restaurant. Good service; wish they had more healthy choices. Lauren is very good there.

The best Atlantic cod dinners and sandwiches. The custard flavor of the day are always exciting and taste great!

The food is made fresh and the service is great. The bathrooms were clean. They brought the food to the table. We enjoyed our meals as a family. They play chirstian music inside. It was a nice meal with an enjoyable atmosphere

They were so sweet, we came in closer to closing but the service was great and everyone was still cheery. Couldn’t recommend this location more.:)

So I went through the drive thru with my mom today and got 2 ice cream cones. The 2nd cone handed to me fell in to my car and all over my shoe. I don’t blame the girl, she was apologetic, but she was tiny, barely seeing over the window, we fumbled the cone together. I advised to her I was gonna pull around and clean out my car and my shoe. I went directly into the bathroom, washed off my shoe the best I could, then went to the counter. I advised what happened to another younger lady at the counter, interaction was normal, and a bigger guy handed me a new cone soon after.

The problem is, when the bigger guy handed me the cone he did not say a word and looked annoyed, that became further apparent when I decided to tell him “thanks for the cone but mann these are expensive shoes, I’m bummed”. His reaction was to roll his eyes. I got thrown back by that and asked if there was a manager and he said he was the manager. I did an under my breath in disbelief laugh and asked him his name and he ignored, completely refused to give it to me, just walked away throwing his hand up in disregard. I asked him “you don’t see how unprofessional you’re being? ” He then said he was calling the police. I told him I will wait outside for them. To not cause any other “disturbances” from me.
Once the police arrived, they wrote me a trespass warning with no chance of telling my side of the story. Just plainly treated like a criminal. I have contacted Culver’s corporate and the police office to further express this issue in more detail. I just can’t believe the way I was treated through this whole ordeal. I understand the police side that Culver’s is their business and they can do as they see fit. I understand I don’t have a say when it came to talking to the police about my side of the story. But how Culver’s management decided to escalate a situation like this is absolutely insane to me. I have never been treated with such disrespect and banished so quickly for something I feel that could have been easily resolved with common curtesy.
I just want to express my side of the story, so future customers can be aware how quickly a repercussion can happen to you after expressing your unpleasant experience with their business in a professional manner with management.

I talked to the police, in short Culver’s management can make the decision to ban whomever they want for whatever reason. Fair enough, but I don’t feel that this interaction should have never went this far. I got ice cream spilled on me and made notice of it to the manager, got a snarky response from him.
I talked to Culver’s Corporate, told them the entire interaction and they advised they would have the store reach out to me.
I have not heard from the store or anything.
I’m still banned and I guess that’s it.
It’s crazy, I don’t get tickets for driving, have a clean record. Got a “trespassing” ticket though due to going to Culver’s with my mom to get icecream.it’s all upside down.
