Everyone was so nice- they cared about us getting there safely. The facility was clean- nice area.

Kite rules posted! This is a kiters spot for sure. Even on a busy day the launch and landing area works great. The beach area is smaller but the grassy park makes for a great place to set up. Sand bars and flat water.everywhere. No traffic issues even on an extremely busy day. If you are wondering should this one be on your list, this is an absolute must. It has a-lot of grassy bottom spots however there is also plenty of white sand bars and beautiful blue tropical water to cruise over too.

What a lovely little florida state park this is! Everything is so clean and perfectly placed. And all the campsites are close enough to the water for you to see the sunrise early in the morning.

The beach is worth a visit in the dark when the moon lights up the whole beach and water

Great place to see birds, crabs, and lizards. Great star gazing. Extremely nice clean bathrooms and showers. Would definitely recommend camping here.

SO much seaweed, we couldn't get in the water. Looks like it would be a decent place to stay if you could actually use the beach- but we couldn't.

Nice park but it is small and always crowded. Also when we visited the beach smelled horribly from all the sea weed build up plus red algy. In fact it was ao bad the water was red not blue. This isn't a fault of the park staff of course. They did a great job at keeping the public utilities clean. Nice showers and toilets. Of course the price is great when compared to anywhere else on the keys.

Not a bad view from site 16. I believe there's only 28 sites here and that's why it's booked solid all year round. Good luck getting a site! I've been trying to get here for years and finally had the opportunity. The park is very small but beautiful. Don't expect all the fancy amenities here, just natural unspoiled Florida key's beauty.

Very clean campground and park. Just wish the bathrooms were air conditioned! It is truly hot down here in July! Water is very clear and beautiful colors!

Great place to camp or just enjoy it for a day. We've camped here twice and had a nice time on each visit, although the neighbors were very loud and disrespectful this last time. The beaches are best in the fall, winter, spring times. Summer brings the sea grass washed up on the shore and you really can't enjoy the beach.

I have been to a lot of state park campgrounds but I have never seen such attentive hosts clean and prep a site like this one. I am sorry that there isn't a beach to enjoy, to overgrown with seagrass.

Lots of dead and live sea grass. Little sandy areas in water. Snorkeled and not a lot of fish or shells.

Having said that, it is beautiful.

Beautiful, peaceful, and clean. While our family of seven were swimming at the beach, a family of manatees swam up and entertained the kids. It was a great encounter.

We went in here simply to pass some time and have a place to park our travel trailers waiting to check in to our campground. It's a pretty place and had a wonderful small beach which is a rarity in the keys
