Came to pick up prescriptions for my very sick son. We had never been to this location before, but our normal Publix pharmacy was already closed. The female pharmacy tech was extremely rude and unprofessional. She seemed super annoyed when I was there. I gave 2 stars just because the male pharmacist was very nice and helpful. He was really the only one doing any kind of work that night.

This is just by far the worse. Never pick up phones in a timely manner. I take numerous meds daily. It gets so frustrating when they don't fill them.like there suppose to. Meds I have been taking for years they place a hold on them for some reason. No one at the pharmacy can tell you why. Now I can understand why so may CVS locations in Tampa as well as everywhere else in the country are closing.there doors. Tonight was my last straw. I will be transferring all my prescriptions across the street to Walgreens. Enough is enough. CVS. Someone in corporate should start reading reviews. Bye bye.

Please use a different pharmacy and save yourself the trouble. Don't wish the experience you will get on anyone. Not to mention how unclean and grimmy they keep the pharmacy counter. Pay attention to the lack of cleanliness as they are filling the bottles. Made me sick to my stomach.

I had to go pick up scripts for my husband. When we got the order, the young man asked about a Sulfa Allergy my husband has and had I ever taken the medicine I was picking up. He hadn't ever taken it before, and he took time to go speak to the pharmacist who made the official call to not give my husband the prescription due to the severity of the allergy. Also, there was a medication that would react to another one and they made sure to let us know how to properly take these meds without causing a interaction. I know the drive thru line drives people crazy and its slow moving but think of the person in front of you who had the employee been in a rush could have easily just pushed the meds through and my husband would have taken a medication that could have very easily killed him. Next time that could be your family at the window and medication given to a family member that could have caused serious harm was administered. Slow down and wait your turn or go inside. There's more than just handing over your bag of medications happening at the window. THANK YOU TO THE EMPLOYEE AND THE PHARMACIST FOR CATCHING THIS AND KEEPING HIM SAFE. WE DID CALL HIS PCP HOPEFULLY THAT OFFICE SLOWS DOWN AND PAYS CLOSER ATTENTION TO PRESCRIBING MEDS.

I shop at this store once in awhile and use the pharmacy a handful of times a year. The employees are all very friendly and the store is always clean. The drive thru pharmacy is very convenient. The store is open 24 hours. You can't beat that!

The customer service personnel are absolutely the best at this store and were extremely helpful and helping me find what I needed. I definitely will be back again. Great work girls.

Always a pleasure to visit this location. Team members are cheerful and willing to assist at anytime. The cashier heard the self checkout alarm and assisted right away. Pharmacy staff was cheerful when I walked by early this morning. And I saved 48% in coupons off my total, which really helped. This store is always clean and never out of stock of the items I need. Thank you for being available for me and my family’s’ needs.

I would give them 10 stars if I could. There was a mix up with my meds at Walgreens and they gave me the run around then told me they couldn’t fill it there after they had me come back twice. Long story short this cvs pharmacy went above and beyond for me to fill it on short notice during a rush while short staffed. That kind of customer service is so hard to find especially these days. I’m so grateful to them.

Horrible experience. I’m reporting the pharmacist Damon Potter and Alex, with the locs in his hair, to the board. Potter didn't know Alex’s last name. They’re incompetent and will waste your time. Go to a different pharmacy!

Each time I have to pick up a prescription I dread coming to this pharmacy. They are extremely slow. I don’t know if they have a staff shortage but I don’t understand why the drive thru is always backed up and it takes over 15 minutes to get a prescription that should already be ready. If I could take away the 1 star, I would.

Absolutely abysmal customer service. Pharmacy tech has no compression skills and pharmacist was just as bad. Seem to not know how to do a simple prescription transfer correctly. I've waited close to a hour on a prescription that was supposedly already filled and I even received a text that it was ready. Extremely unorganized location. Save yourself the headache and missed prescription dosages and skip this location.

Phone line is atrocious. They should have someone who picks up. I waited on hold for almost an hour and I heard someone pick up and then hang up call. I’m going to switch to Walgreens maybe I’ll have better service with them.

I see a ton of bad reviews for this CVS, so I wanted to share my positive experience with the pharmacy. I got there around 8pm tonight and the drive thru had a long line, so I went inside with my tired and sick 2-year-old. We had just left urgent care, so I knew his prescription would not be ready yet. When I asked at the counter, they expedited it, and the pharmacist started on it right away. We were out of there in 5 minutes, and I was able to give my baby a dose of his medicine before bed. I saw how busy everyone was working behind the scenes to try and get through all of the other customers both inside and in the drive thru.

Very unhelpful in the pharmacy. The person who “helped” me seemed annoyed the whole time. I left the pharmacy in total frustration and without my prescription.

If zero stars were an option, I most definitely would be giving this pharmacy that! I have been on hold more than 10 minutes, unbelievable, I hung up. When I do get a pharmacist on the phone from the previous times I have called, they are unprofessional and have such terrible attitudes with me, even in the drive through line. I have been getting my medication from this cvs for over a year, I hate coming here, but it’s the closest one to me! I call a week in advance, because they seem to always never have my meds in stock, and it’s been almost a week since I’ve put in my prescription for my medication and it’s still being processed. Unbelievable? I really don’t recommend this place! & I’m not one to write reviews unless I really have too. This place should be shut down! I haven’t seen one positive review about this cvs. Everyone is so rude here!

CVS used to be one of the best, but I’m concerned about service specifically with this location on Gibsonton Drive. I came to pick up a prescription and was advised it’s not in stock, there was no phone call to let me know, communication goes a long way, but I guess communication is no longer important. I called my physician to change the script to something different. Waited well over an hour before coming to get the prescription, found out after waiting for 30 minutes in the drive through line that it wasn’t ready, was advised they needed 30 minutes and I would receive a text. Just so that you know, I never got the text. Proceed with caution if you’re planning to use this particular location. Wait times are long, communication is not good. I’ll have to look for another pharmacy, or location.

I waited on the phone for 1hour and 14min and still no answer one of the worst pharmacy I have ever experienced in my life. Your that busy open another CVS. Worst costumer service ever. Always about 6-10 cars in line.
