We get all of our prescriptions from CVS. Between my husband and I, I'm at our normal CVS about once a month or so. Our pharmacist knows me. Our pharmacist is amazing.

When we are out of town, we go to whatever CVS is nearby. Our experience at this CVS was awful.

My husband's doctor sent over his prescription on 12/22. The CVS app said they couldn't fill it until 12/27 because of our insurance. So we waited until 12/27.

On that day, it said it was in process. So we tried to call to see when it would be ready. No one answers the phone. We waited for 30 minutes before giving up. So we drove there.

When we get there we're told that they won't have it in stock until 12/30. So even though they had the prescription for a full week, they didn't order it so they could fill it on time. Additionally, the pharmacist lied and said she spoke to my husband on the phone. He had no missed call, no voicemail, and certainly did not speak to anyone on the phone.

So on 12/30, we try calling again. Same thing, they don't answer the phone. The only way to find anything out from them is to show up in person. So now they say it won't be in stock until 12/31.

On 12/31 we don't even bother calling. We show up at 3pm and they say they have it but we have to come back at 7 because it's not ready. Every other CVS I've been to will just ask you to wait a few minutes while they fill it for you right then if you're waiting.

We come back at 7 and it's still not ready. This time they tell us they're working on it right then. So we wait another 10 minutes before we finally get the prescription.

Oh and because this is a controlled medication, it's a pain to move it to another pharmacy and no one can tell us if it's in stock until they have the prescription (which means canceling it at the current pharmacy and potentially waiting longer if it's not in stock at the new one).

Luckily my husband had extra medication and could tolerate his medication getting filled late.

Now I understand that there's issues with slow shipping right now. I still have several problems with how they handled this.

1. They should call if they are going to be delayed refilling a prescription (and they shouldn't lie about doing so).
2. They should restock a medication as soon as they get the prescription instead of waiting a week.
3. They should answer their phone so you don't have to show up in person to find out what's going on.

All that to say, I would never come here again to fill a prescription and I am very thankful for my amazing pharmacist at my normal CVS at home.

They really need to fix 79st up way more fully.a lot of the surrounding areas like to “hang” out around there.quite dangerous

Ghetto staff that could care less about helping anyone. Good luck calling, no one EVER picks up the phone and staff is unconcerned. Hate coming here and stuck using them. Time for mail order!

This location seems very new but the poor customer service is not a good representation for the company. Also the ceiling especially near a/c vents is filthy, almost looks like mold possibly.

The fact that I have to hear about another customers medication names and prices. That Puzzles me. The staff is in their own world. I will say that the service is a bit slow. I just wonder if every customer that calls gets put on speaker phone.

They have you on hold for a long time, the manager is very rude. The associates answered the phone rudely. Customer service is horrible.

Went in to purchase water at 1: 53am and was told the bathroom is closed until 8am. I won't be doing business here anymore.

7 people working and all but 1 is working. The others are talking and chatting while "working. " How can you even focus like that, you can't! It also makes everything you do take longer! Because they are turning around to talk to each other. Literally stoping work to talk. Prescription was supposed to be ready Wednesday, it is not Friday and it is not.
