CVS Pharmacy reviews
5They do not answer the phone. On hold forever until I just had to hang up ;- (
My CVS pharmacy at Curry Ford and Conway has always gone above and beyond to be helpful and kind.
Not sure what happened to this store. Used to be great. The shelves don't always seem well stocked, but the real issue is the pharmacy. You can't call and speak with anyone in the pharmacy without a 30+ minute wait. Had to get an insulin prescription filled. The doctor had sent it in and 3 weeks later they still wouldn't fill it. Of course, no one would answer the phone. My husband waited over and hour and still no answer. We finally called the 800 customer service number. The rep who answered said she saw it was called in and ready to be filled and assured us it would be filled by 8 pm that evening. We showed up the next day and guess what? Still not filled. The pharmacy person had to speak to a supervisor who could not even be bothered to explain or apologize for the issue and delay. Very shoddy customer service at this pharmacy. Going to use another store in the future.
My mother is visiting me from Port Charlotte. The pharmacist told my mom to basically doctor shop which is illegal, to get a local doctor to send her a prescription. Rather than her fill my mom's prescription from a doctor out of town.
Pharmacist should not have the right to tell someone they will not fill a prescription. My mother is disabled, and cannot go without her medication. This is truly disgusting.
I don't know how this pharmacist can sleep at night knowing she denied a disabled woman her medication.
I've been told 6 times to keep comming back to get my "READY" prescription. Now I've been waiting in the drive through for 20 minutes.
