Cypress Village reviews
13 This place is horrible. If you expect treatment with care and true concern look elsewhere. This place is more concern with making money than providing excellent care.
They are seriously undetstaffed. You could wait 30 min.to an hour in need of help. The help light may as well be broken.
If you are looking for a place to diet, you can lose weight because most of the food is unedible found it

Complete disgrace to health care. Was told they would submit an authorization on Tuesday, went today Friday to find out they haven’t even submitted yet, but then they decided because I asked questions they wouldnt accept my loved one. Yes I will fight for the ones I love. This place is awful and should be shut down for lying and neglect. I hope nobody else ever gets screwed by this awful facility and administration.
An amazing place. The staff, faculty, nurses, Pt and Ot are very concerned about your well being and all are wanting the best for you. I am truly in great hands. Thank you for your services. Vickie Redden
It was my first visit and everything was nice. The Staff was pleasant and the building smelled clean.
We visited a friend who is a new resident. Her apartment is lovely and she is very pleased. We were able to have a lunch meal together and enjoyed the meal.
Do NOT take your loved one to Cypress Village. They are understaffed and will not answer call lights for 45 min to 1.5hrs. Not very clean. Staff not very friendly. Medically, there is poor communication. Completely dropped the ball with medical care an allowed patient to get worse.
It's very clean. And the Staff is so nice to the visitors and the Patients. The computer 's we have to check in with doesn't work always. And there were two what looked like security guards in the office to the side of where they were and my Friend who was trying to do the computer but it didn't work like four times and they just sat there. So I just let her in. So she could finally visit with her Mother. That's the only thing that has happened in the negative way. Everything else is 100% good! And my Friend is very happy there.
Beautiful place to live as I see when visiting my friends who have an apartment in independent living!
I would (NEVER) recommend anyone take their love ones here. My mother was sent here for Rehab, The staff was awful and very unprofessional, My mother hade an accident on herself, I call for assistance, No one came to see about my mother, So I went to see why no one came to see about my mother. "Well when I walk to the receptionist desk, Everyone was up there on there cell phones. I think while working in these facilities, Cell phones should be banned while caring for people love ones.
My grandmother stays here and every time I come to visit, I run into issues with the staff. They employ mostly minors, which is not the issue, but the way they handle other residents is really disappointing. We had to wait at dinner one time because one of the servers did not clean their own section because they intentionally did not want to serve the other residents. Sometimes the workers are rude to not only the residents, but to their supervisors as well. One of the supervisors, Ms. Tonya Freeman, was assisting us in the dining area (truly a great person if you have the chance to meet her!), but one of the minor workers kept dismissing her presence. She never let it affect her and continued to help us because that is type of person she is. She engages with the other residents and I don't see other staff doing the same things, but I guess their intent on hiring people who do the bare minimum. If the staff training were trained better, I think I would change my mind about how I view this place, but it continues to leave a bad taste in my mouth every time. For their website to say they do what they do with heart, I'm not seeing much of it. We're entrusting our loved ones in the hands of others that we do not know expecting for them to be taken care of but I'm not so sure about this place anymore.
Visited toured the Memory Care unit with Abby! She was very informative and helpful.
Pleased with option and continuative care available at Cypress Village.
Our mother is in Cypress Village for rehab and we are so thankful for the awesome staff, professional care and the facility is the best! You couldn’t ask for a better place to have one of you family members. We are very thankful!
There are True Angels working in Memory Care. Especially the nurses and Director. But there is not enough staff to keep up with the daily care needs of all the residents. Resident needs are unmet, to put it very mildly. Room checks might or might not happen, so residents who fall are not always found quickly. The on-call doctor’s office does not reliably respond to staff or family messages. Food service treats residents like second-class citizens; It does not provide same quality as independent living. Laundry can’t keep up with the volume, trash cans in rooms are often overflowing.
This is a leadership and budgeting fail, not the fault of the frontliners. Several families have had to hire private sitters or even move their loved one out. I do not recommend.
