Dade Christian School, Hialeah FL

DCS has lost about 20 staff members in a matter of 3 months, all while parents aren't being told the truth. Seems like five star reviews are being posted by employee spouses.

Wonder if the head pastor is asking family staff members post fake reviews?

Also, they have now acquired students and teachers from Little College. More uncertified teachers.

We met this school this year, we had a terrible experience with Our Lady of The Lakes, a previous school, and we arrived at this school and we felt at home, all the teachers are kind and the children have learned a lot, in the other school our daughter learned only the first letter of her name in 4 months, here she wrote her full name in a month

This school has a loving atmosphere and Christian values. Nothing and no one is perfect but the school itself has a loving atmosphere and ambiance. The teacher my son was blessed to be placed under truly cares for her students and I witnessed this with my own two eyes. I believe there are educators at Dade Christian who truly care for the families that go there and that God is with them every step of the way. Dade Christian was a wonderful school for my child to attend VPK although we had to move away and it was thanks to the teachers that worked with him everyday who really put the hard work to make a difference in his education. They also have very high security and are down to Earth and humble. The people bashing Dade Christian has nothing to do with the actual school or overall quality of the school’s education and loving teachers but rather personal opinions and battles with individuals as happens anywhere with human beings, not everyone will always like each other and get along but overall, I recommend this school for your child if you’re looking to get a Christian education for your little ones that is solid and also spiritual.

With three children studying here, we couldn't be happier with Dade Christian School. Its strong focus on Christian values, caring community, and excellent academics make it the perfect choice for any family seeking a nurturing Christian education.

Proud to have my child here at Dade Christian School! Being an alumni, you get to appreciate the hard work the staff puts forth for your kids when you put them here. Christ makes a difference in the education both spiritually and academically here. Highly recommend for anyone looking to have a Christ-centered education for their kids.

This is not about a review. It is a warning for other parents trying to make a decision in their child’s educational life. I had my kids here for several years. They portray themselves as a beneficial, successful school with a caring environment.

Pastor Rey is a fake and definitely does not have your child's interest at heart. He controls and monitors every movement of the school and fires any staff who dares to speak up for the school. He has guaranteed to gain full control by having family members as trustees and hiring pastoral and teacher friends to keep him informed and in control. Pastor Rey fired many caring Christian’s such as Dr. Burns a Head Master who was loved by all parents, students and staff. It's pretty clear Pastor Rey is all about filling his pockets.

Please be careful and do your research about this place and make sure you know what you're walking into. The Church is always broke, even had to sell land and doesn’t have the kids best interest at all. They do not reinvest in the school or the kids education as they should. There isn’t the needed technology to teach kids as other school have. In fact they ask parents to donate money for smart boards after paying tuition while having staff students go tuition free. DON’T BE FOOLED! Look at other schools and compare.

This review is for you parents looking for a "better education " for your children, please do a favor to yourself and your children, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL, everything is wrong here, starting by the pastoral management all the way down to the teachers, corruption, lies and more lies is what DCS has to offer.

The atmosphere with all the staff is incredible, the teachers are very good, prepared, loving and patient. The school does not currently have any financial problems, they are even investing in significant improvements. It's excellent!

You feel like family when you walk through the doors. Teachers have been amazing! Feeling blessed!

The baseball team for this school is a disgrace. The mouth and foul language coming from these student tat we saw in city field was outrageous and so disrespectful and the fact that it is a christian private school is sad. The coaches did nothing and the umpire had to cancel the game and kick them out. Why coaches dis not get involved and discipline them for this is crazy. They even disrespected parents along with players and their families. Never have we ever seen this behavior in our yrs of baseball mom experience. Sad
