The only one close to me. 22 miles, so I it is a treat to go there. It is walk up only. Very nostalgic. They sell food but I always get a large cone. Friendly staff.

The service is always great but the last 2 times I've stopped it seems the ice cream is soupy immediately. Like it's not totally frozen. Don't know.

They always have great food. I just wish they had a drive through or dine in option, but I will definitely go back.

Cute little (compared to my large un-handsome frame) girl served me my chili dog and fries with a friendly smile. She made a tired old man feel a little less old and a bit less tired. Standard DQ fare with a humanizing extra. I wish her well and a pleasant life.

Great staff can't believe this 40's style building is still operating like it should. Hate seeing old things die. Very nice people! Good food and ice cream.

We stop here once In awhile after bike rides & walks for a treat. They have the best most creamy soft serve ice cream!

I will give four stars just because I really like the Banana milkshakes but they don't deserve any more than that because the prices have gotten way too high, my mom went recently and got two small ones and I think she paid over eight dollars and that's far too much for poor people to have very often

While on a 140ish mile lunch extravaganza. Mrs. Gator says "lets hop over to Palatka DQ". It wasn't far out of the way and this DQ is one of our favorites.
What you're going to find here is a nostalgic Dairy Queen with no inside seating. No fancy menu. Nothing but those original Dairy Queen treats. This place is an Original piece of local history. A small piece of Awsomeness tucked away in an easy in easy out location.
Everyone who works here is full of smiles and personality that will leave you walking away with a cone or cup full of happy.

This DQ has been around for a very long time. I remember our Mother taking us here in the Early 70's. There is no drive through and no inside seating. And the service and Treats are As good today as they were over 40 years ago!

They move quick, the food is great, i never spend more than 5 minutes waiting at any given time. Huge props to this establishment.

Small walk up shop. Small menu, but still packs a punch.
For any given hot day, Dairy Queen Ice cream will hit the spot.
Particularly that strawberry Sundae. That flavor is awesome!

For a quick meal, the Chilly Cheese Combo will satisfy those hunger pangs.

It's always a good experience getting our ice cream fix at Dairy Queen Palatka. The service is fast and our wait time is not long. The crew always has a smile on their face.

Never had a bad item from here. I recently discovered the Misty slushies and cream slushies and they are really good.
Most of the bad reviews here are from people who can't read that this is a 'treat location' and are looking for the full restaurants. They can travel to Ocala, Gainesville or St. Augustine if they are looking for regular food. 'treat' means it only sells the, shocking, TREATS. Google shouldn't allow people to leave bad reviews when its user errors and not an error on the facility. Just saying.
