Dairy Queen, Port Charlotte FL

There's no inside seating! Would have been nice to know before we drove here to sit in line for the drive thru in the road, only to find out you can't substitute sides here either. The outside walk up window and patio was closed too. Make the drive to Venice DQ it's worth it.

Went to get a blizzard the other evening because they are open till 10pm and the drive through was the only thing open. Not waiting in a long line so I went somewhere else. It wasn't even dark out. When is the sitting place open? What hours?

It's a shame, this used to be a great old-style DQ, but now it's a disgusting mess in horrible disrepair. Understaffed and the few that do show up are rude. Zero customer service. Don't waste your time, there are better options.

No one has chili dogs like Dairy Queen! They are simply the best. And the soft serve ice cream is so good. Even the cheese curds are yummy! I'm a regular!

Chocolate Malt I spent my lunch break going to get, taste like CARDBOARD! NO TAPE, NO WRAPPING, STRAIGHT CARDBOARD!

Blizzards are my favourite here. They removed the hot chocolate cake with vanilla ice cream which use to be very delicious too.

Chicken strips with white gravy, fries, drink, and sundae chocolate ice cream with strawberries. Awesome!

Love Dairy Queen and have been a customer of the chain for years. Lived in Port Charlotte for 2 years now and this location continues to disappoint. Wish they had a grill and chill with a dining room.

On Saturday June 10th and Sunday June 11th, they were closed. Sign said family event. Ok so if the owners have an event that's fine, life happens, but there is no need to close the whole store. Don't you have employees to work and keep it open? Absurd for an ice cream plaace to be closed on a 90+ degree weekend. Me and my wife drove all the way to the Dairy Queen grill and chill in Venice.

The girls at Dairy Queen are always so professional decision and happy to be there I've never had a problem with Dairy Queen with their service or their food items

Great shakes and burgers but if you’re still up from the night before, biting down …there’s a good chance you might want some orange juice, unfortunately that is one thing they do NOT have on their menu

Best fast food restaurant in Port Charlotte. Service is always amazing and the food is always made to a high standard.

Patios closed, so great place to go if you want to sit in the drive thru line for 30 minutes to wait for "fast" food

Great burgers and shakes. Much better than the other fast food restaurants. Great friendly service. A+ food and service.

Unfortunately, their patio is closed (due to lack of staff, I believe) and bicyclists are not permitted to go through their drive thru. I would love to give them my money, but I am physically unable to at this time.

Ok local place in Port Charlotte. It reopened a few months ago and they are always packed. There is now a drive-thru which is great because we can take our dog. Nice fenced patio area to help corral the kids with cars coming and going. Food menu seems to be expanded which is great. Can't beat the chicken strips with cream gravy to dip in.
Dip cones are never same size. To get medium size we order large. They need dip cone class. Also dip is usually not thick enough like old days. Changed from 5 to 3 stars.
