Our agent, Matt Sonberg, was outstanding! Many challenges popped up during the course of selling our vacant lot and Matt was there to save the day each and every time. We can’t thank Matt enough for seeing this deal through. He earned every penny of his commission on this one, and he never let up. Two years ago we kindled the vision of starting fresh; life 2.0 and our next chapter in life. Moving from our deeply established life of 31 years in the Chicagoland area to Florida excited and daunted. Where to begin? Sometimes the smallest starts lead to the biggest finales. Browsing homes online strengthened our vision with more and more specific ideas and so we began clicking to inquire. Almost immediately, agents called, ready to add us to their custom searches. They’d ask a few questions, customize parameters, wish us well.and then disappear.
Then the call from Matt. He asked similar questions, but more thoroughly, and listened long and gave full attention.and then stuck around. As we continued to explore listings over the months, Matt checked in regularly by email, pointing out specific homes we might like based on key details we’d mentioned long ago in our initial conversations. He picked up on subtle observations such as the quality (or lack thereof) of recent rehab work; thought ahead with information we might find helpful down the road such as which parts of homes were load bearing in case we’d ever want to structurally remodel; researched data behind the scenes such as the chain of ownership and permit history details.

When we finally landed on our “aha” home, we discovered Matt’s diplomacy with negotiation. From military discipline to elder statesman discretion. How to present, when to ask or when to be silent and wait. We flexed, we stood ground, and we quickly agreed on a final contract.all through Matt’s wise direction. If that weren’t enough, he even paid attention to the tiniest details in paperwork right before closing and discovered our lender had missed adding a final $1,000 seller credit on the Closing Disclosure. We would have missed it.

After our smooth, successful closing, Matt continued to impress.as we walked into our new home, we found a kind and generous housewarming basket filled with gifts and even had a chance to meet his family who welcomed us to our new home. When we’d sold our home a few years before in the Chicagoland area, the realtor never even called or sent a note to say thank you after a dramatically quick and easy sale.
Unpacking, arranging furniture and hanging decor, we are happily amazed at how it all started and then concluded with our dream home.and made a lasting friendship with our agent.

Wonderful staff and great office environment. Conference rooms plenty large enough and stocked with bottled water and fresh coffee!

The agent was very knowledgeable about the beach market and showed us several units that were within our price range. She helped us immensely with negotiating the best deal possible and was right there with us through the long-distance closing process. We love our new place.

The only problem was that the agent offered to help us with getting a cleaning crew in to deep clean the unit before we moved in. That never happened. We were really disappointed to know that we missed the opportunity to have everything clean and sanitized before we started moving furniture and personal belongings into our new space.

Say what you're going to do and do what you're saying you will do. It's a pretty simple concept.
