Damage Control, Oviedo FL

Several weeks ago, me wife and I discovered a Slab Leak under our home. After asking the plumber who came out what do do about the damage caused by the leak, as this was our first experience with a major issue as home owners, we were referred to Damage Control as the local experts for assisting in finding answers. Within an hour, John (Duck) was out to the house, did a full inspection and sat us down to go through the entirety of his findings. He then walked us through the process of the mitigation and remediation, how to communicate effectively with the insurance company and the options available to us. We never felt pressured to use their company or sign documents that were clearly stated and broken down clearly so we knew what we were agreeing to. After agreeing to work with them, within hours the work began by bringing in several dehumidifier for the water and air purifiers to protect my family from mold. Within the next week, all damaged materials were removed from the house by professionals who were able to extract what was needed and left what was salvageable in under 2 days (mind you this was 3 rooms of dry wall, flooring, cabinets, etc.). Duck also helped connect us to Enviroking for mold treatment and provided other points of contact for remodels, plumbing and leak detection. Throughout the process, when we I needed an updat for the insurance company, had a quick question or needed advice oh handling contractors, Duck was one phone call away. I don’t think it ever rang twice. He was the best person to help my wife and I at this time, particularly as this was all so foreign to us and all of the team at Damage Control were kind, helpful and outright professional. Highly recommend!

Major crisis at my daughter’s townhouse on a weeknight evening with sewer backing up into the house. The rental management company was unresponsive. John came out, gave helpful advice and let us use his tool to access the sewer line. We hope the leasing company will hire Damage Control to remediate the apartment.

Fast service. Technician quickly identified problems and swiftly took needed actions. Amontae explained services needed in an easy to understand manner. He was very helpful and courteous. Highly recommended!

Mr Victor Ocasio is a great professional, very responsive and an amazing team leader. I had a bit of a crisis at my house and an entire foot flooded and he made it his mission to take care of everything and keeping me posted as things were getting patched up again
