We joined the studio last August 2019 and have been enjoying the classes very much. Lovely environment for the students and parents and great dance classes. My daughter looks forward to each of her classes at Dance IQ!

Alisa has taught my girls who are now 6 & 8, since they were 3 years old. I couldn’t imagine any one else teaching my girls. She is so patient, kind and fun. She doesn’t make the children feel inadequate and meets each one of them where they are. She offers all types of dance and has a theatre program. My daughter discovered theatre through Dance IQ with Alisa and has blossomed so much! Alisa includes everyone! She also has a special program for children with autism. She is a very special woman and we love her dearly. If you haven’t tried out her studio, you must call today! You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic studio! Ms. Alisa has so much patience for the little ones, and makes it so much fun for them. At the same time, my daughter is learning motor skills necessary for her development (we can see the difference after a couple of classes). Our 4 year old really looks forward to dance every Friday, which is the most important part for us.

My daughter loves dancing here. She takes ballet and creative movements. She adores the staff and the students.

We love this studio! Alisa Jacobs is amazing with the children and her Emotional Support dog Winnie the Pooh makes visiting the studio even more fun. Dance IQ is very clean. I love that it’s not competitive.

We are homeschoolers and attended two different homeschool classes. My daughter did Tap, Ballet, Jazz, and HipHop which she loved. All three of my kids were also in the brain based class. I thought it was so helpful to get them moving their bodies in new ways. It really went nicely for my son who goes to Occupational and physical therapy.

Alisa Jacobs is a phenomenal teacher with a passion for dance and the neurological benefits intentional movement can foster. She has decades of experience and a great amount of patience and understanding for children and adults of all ages. With a focus on form and technique, instead of competition, she leads all her students into a deep love for dance and allows them to flourish a true understanding of the hows and whys of the body movements, as well as, the history of dance. She also offers classes during the day (before schools let out) that can accommodate homeschoolers or younger children! Her studio is easy to get to, up to date, clean, neat, and comfortable. The sessions are intelligently scheduled, make ups are easy to arrange, and the costs are affordable and competitively priced. Additionally, it’s conveniently located next to other shopping (grocery, dry cleaner, restaurants, etc), so it’s easy to accomplish multiple errands at once. With a free class to see if her school is the right fit, it’s a no-brainer to check out her offerings!

My boys really enjoyed the classes at Dance IQ. What an amazing place! They looked forward to each creative movement class. The teacher was using the methods where they used creativity and high energy. Dance IQ inspires the students by dancing more to build self-confidence and self-discipline. I highly recommend for your children to come and experience new way of dancing. The teachers at Dance IQ are highly motivated and share a love of dance with their students.

My daughter loves this dance studio. At the end of each class she walks out with big smile and tells how much fun she had. We’ve tried different dance studio for a year and all they cared about was memorizing moves for the recitals. Alisa makes class very enjoyable and kids love it!

Dance IQ is the best studio and is a true parents dream! Ms Alisa (the owner) has mastered the art of teaching where the kids can have fun and be kids while at the same time learning skills and building their confidence. It is the perfect mix. They know how to pull out the full potential of each individual child. We have personally witness our daughters confidence grow and she actually came home after class last week jumping up and down saying “I did it Mom! I did it! “

My daughter just finished the first week of camp with Miss Alisa, and i have never seen her so energetic, happy, creative after a class. Alissa uses amazing approaches to enhance brain processing. The music is trendy, vintage and cool! The music theater class is lovely, kids all have their space to act, sing and perform alone and as a team. The creative movement is one of the classes I enjoyed watching the most, has all types if music, and easy dancing, one moment they are in the amazons moving like animals, trees and rain, then they are in the prehistoric age acting as dinosaurs who then get extinct! Ballet is sweet, with great music! Hip hop is fun and modern. Alisa and her helpers and spectacular! Everyone should come and try Dance Iq!

Miss Alisa at Dance IQ is one of the best dance teachers of all time. She is kind and compassionate and strives to make each and every student feel welcome. She has excellent training and a Master’s degree in Dance.
I was searching for a dance studio near Weston where I could feel comfortable attending and get individualized attention as a beginner. I started with Adult Tap and Adult Jazz classes. Alisa is a very patient teacher and operates a very clean studio. I am amazed at how quickly Alisa had me tapping.
I have already lost 10 pounds attending her classes! I look forward to continuing my studies with Miss Alisa. She is a dream come true and is equally great with children.
