Excellent trainer. We are really pleased with the improvements our 2 yr old frenchie has made with respect to leash walking as well as sit, stay, wait commands. We highly recommend Daniel to anyone looking for a trainer.

I am visiting Pompano Beach for a limited period of time and had an interest of having, our just adopted, dog certified as a Service Dog. I had no idea how the process worked so I Googled the closest dog trainers and luckily called DDLR, one of the closest dog trainers.
Daniel pulled no punches, told me the rules justifying the earning of a certificate as a Service Dog.
I am lucky I did not fit the physical disability or Psychiatric justification for my dog to have open access to buildings, air planes, etc.
I am disappointed but appreciate being given frank and honest direction.
Maybe I'm in need of an Emotional Support Dog?

I brought my 7 month old American Eskimo puppy to Daniel for a 3 week board and train. When we went for out meet and greet I knew it was the right fit. My timid puppy who doesn't open up to people jumped right on Daniel's lap.
When I came back for my first weekly visit, Daisy was so excited to see us. As we were all sitting outside, she jumped between us and was so excited. As we were sitting out there not only did she jump all over us and give us lots of love. She was jumping on Chris, the house manager and giving him equal love.
After the three week training, she is like a different puppy. So much better and potty trained. I would recommend Daniel to anyone looking for a trainer.

Daniel was great to train with. He is highly experienced, professional, patient, and accommodating. He trained my 6 yr old pit bull to be my service dog. His training enhanced her innate abilities to be the companion that I need, taught her new commands, improved her socialization skills and behavior so that I can take her anywhere in public safely and appropriately including navigating busy airports, ameliorated communication between Ginger and I creating a more intimate bond between fur baby and parent as well as a better connection between service dog and handler. I would definitely recommend Daniel and work with him again in the future.

Daniel was great! He worked with both my male puppy doberman and my 3 year old female red nose pit. He immediately was able to correct them both on walks and in home basic obedience. The “sit stays” are very important to implement and he was able to help crack the code as well as help generate ideas for other behavioral issues the puppy is going through. Each session he showed up on time and truly cares about his profession and craft. High recommend, thanks again Daniel!

Daniel and Chris are excelent trainer and person, my dog Charlie stay there for 3 weeks training. And when he will came back home he was completely other dog, they fix all problems of Charlie

Daniel was able to train our rescue Snoopy. Thank God there is a SIGNIFICANT improvement. He kept us updated throughout the 3 weeks stay. The training sessions after the 3 weeks stay are helpful to reinforce the lessons learned during the stay. YES! I highly recommend Mr. Daniel De La Rosa:)

I hesitantly dropped off my 5 month old Cockapoo, Maverick, for dog training. He had so much separation anxiety, barked all the time, wouldn't walk correctly on the leash. Those issues are now resolved thanks to Daniel. He is an expert on what he does and is very professional. It was the best thing I could have done for Maverick. Not only did he train my dog, but he is teaching me as well and answers all my "why" questions. He has such love for all the dogs. Look no further. He is the dog trainer for you.

Daniel is both extremely knowledgeable and professional! He is currently training my dog to be a service dog, and more than that, showing me how to train him and explain why he does things the way he does. He is very calm and consistent and has given me confidence to be the same kind of leader for my dog. My dog looks forward to seeing Daniel all the time and I can't say enough good things about him.

It’s hard to adequately put into words the wonderful experience we had with Daniel. We have a Shih Tzu puppy and wanted to get her trained well. My daughter had used Daniel for her Golden-doodle a few years ago and spoke so highly of him. I called and Daniel took so much time on the phone, answering all our questions so patiently. When we met him we knew he was the real deal. My husband wears orange which is the support color for MS as a family member has MS. When Daniel heard this, every time we went there he was wearing orange. It touched my heart in a very big way.

It’s funny that when I first met him I told Daniel that this was the dog that would probably cause him to retire. He smiled. Being able to watch sessions live on Facebook was so wonderful, and with each one I could see our baby learning and doing everything that was asked of her. It was really hard to believe.

When we had our little visits with her while she was there what really struck me was that although she was happy to see us she stayed close to Daniel. That really told me everything. We picked her up yesterday And cannot be happier with her behavior. Daniel will continue to meet with us to reinforce for some more visits, which I didn’t even realize was going to happen, and I’m very happy about it.

It was interesting one day we went to visit her and there was a stretch limo out front in front of his house. I was joking around saying it must be a celebrity, and only got a smile in return. It was obvious that people came from everywhere to have their dogs trained by Daniel.

I honestly never review anything, but knew that I had to write this, which may not even adequately describe just how fabulous he is.

I brought both my dogs, Karmic & Bodhi, to Daniel for training. Karmic as a Service Dog and Bodhi for family pet training. The first week home and we're already seeing the changes in their behavior. They are much more obedient and well mannered. My wife commented how easy it was for her to walk both dogs on the leash at the same time without any pulling whatsoever. They both really enjoy training and their overall demeanor is wonderful. Daniel said something to me when we first spoke. " You owe it to your dog to have them trained". I didn't understand it at first, but now I do. A well trained dog is a happy dog for they know what to expect from you, their owner. Daniel is extremely calm in his training methods and it's based on "rewards" not correction/punishment like we saw with other trainers we interviewed. We are looking forward to continuing Karmic & Bodhi's training throughout their lifetimes and know we made the right decision in choosing Daniel as their trainer. I highly recommend Daniel's services and am happy we selected him over the other trainers we interviewed.

If I were to accurately rate Daniel… I’d give him 10 stars out of 5! I brought him a very shy, timid, and small miniature schnauzer. She wasn’t very food motivated, so it was hard to train her. In my heart I didn’t know if the 20 sessions would be enough to get her where I wanted her to be. Daniel is a true dog whisperer! I had a lot of bad habits as the handler, and Daniel corrected my behavior with grace and humility. Now Arrow and I are approaching the end of our 20 sessions and I couldn’t be more thrilled. Living with a disability and never having a service dog, this new dog-supported lifestyle has made me by and large a happier person. My dog, who once barked at babies, now lives with an obvious sense of peace, closeness, confidence and purpose. She now comes with me to school, to the library, and even to funerals. The training was difficult and time consuming, but I’d recommend it without a moment’s hesitation. If you want every day with your dog to feel like a miracle, Daniel is your man!?

We worked with Daniel to train our 10 month old Malinois/GSD mix, Chief. We cannot recommend him enough for his attention and skill in helping us to turn our rambunctious and excitable puppy into a lovable companion. He focused on loose leash walking, crate training and basic obedience all of which improved dramatically during Chief’s stay with Daniel. His ongoing help and support has been invaluable. Whenever we take Chief for a walk, we are clearly reminded that we have the best trained dog on the block!

We found Daniel online shortly after moving to Fort Lauderdale. We left our hyperactive Havanese, Oliver, with Daniel & Chris for a 3 week training. The entire time they sent us pictures and posted videos on their Facebook page so we knew everything was going well. We had realistic expectations going into it (Oliver is super energetic with a limited attention span) but overall his attentiveness and eagerness to please and obey commands has improved a lot! Your puppy is in great hands with Daniel and Chris.

Daniel trained my labradoodle to be a service dog and I cannot express how grateful I am. Every time I had a question about my dog’s habits or growth, he was able to answer my questions and put me at ease. With his training, my pup was able to do a complete 180 in his bad behaviors. He’s a lovable, cuddle buddy, who is great with kids. He is even able to attend school while I teach. I recommend Daniel to all of my colleagues and friends. He is absolutely the BEST!

Daniel and his team are truly wonderful! After completing three weeks of training our dog came back into our home calmer, happier, and following all basic commands! It's evident that Daniel loves what he does and expresses that love to the dogs he works with! We are beyond grateful for Daniel and all he has done for not only our dog, but also our family!

Daniel trained my 3 year old rescue into a service dog. I was very hesitant to go through this training, since I have been scammed before from service dog training. However I’m glad I did. I have a heart condition and suffer from frequent fainting spells and have been saving up for years as a college student to be able to get a service dog. Daniel did a great job not only training her but also training me, and he was greatly educated on the laws and regulations which was extremely helpful. Sombra still has a long journey ahead of her, but it is no longer intimidating thanks to Daniel’s training. Highly recommend.
