Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital, Fort Myers FL

My 15 yo cat was very sick. I cannot tell you why I called this vet hospital, but am so grateful I did. The doctors, techs and staff are very knowledgeable and compassionate. I am very happy and have told all my friends who are pet owners! Thank you!

After 13 years of searching for the right vet in Lee County, I stumbled upon this clinic by chance. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and keeps you informed throughout the process. They offer reasonable prices and provide excellent care. If you're looking for a great veterinary clinic, give them a try; you won't be disappointed. And we have seen Dr. Hendon here before and he was very good with our lab. We just took her in for a toenail trim last Saturday snd it went so good! Sharon the receptionist came out to play with her which made our dog very happy. Then the technician Marlin came out and immediately made friends with her. They took her back for the toenail trim and it went very smoothly! We were so pleased with the service! And the caring considerate manners of the staff! Highly recommend them!

I’ve taken my girls here for 2 years after a bad experience. I have been very pleased with them especially Marlin. I do wish i would get the same doctor more often, it does seem like there’s someone new every time. But, all of them have been great. And I should tell you they are not cheap. But I did cheap once and was super unhappy. These girls are my babies, so, no cheap here. I would of done 4 stars for cost, but I’m rating the service here and that’s 5 for me.

I brought my Bengal cat here and I've been so impressed with how he's been taken care of during a stressful situation and the staff has been wonderful.especially Marlin!

Had such a rough day figuring out a UTI with my cat with other calls into other vets. Came into this vet office and they were all just the most amazing and honest people. Thank you so much!

Everyone is very good with Puppy, who can be a difficult dog. They always get us in quickly.

I have been with Daniels Parkway Animal Hospital for a long years. Terry Sutton whom is to me Dr. Doolittle, and one person that I have trusted with my dogs for over 20 years led me to Daniels years ago. They really do care, and show compassion, and love to all animals. I so appreciate them all.

Overall Summary: great service and team, but pricey and not much clarity or consultation

Very good team all around, from the receptionist, especially the tech, and our doctor. Our cat Dante was not eating very much no matter what food we bought him and was occasionally vomiting for a while and this was causing growing concern. So we made an appointment and took him in the same day. They gave him antibiotics, an anti-vomiting shot, did a few more tests and took his blood work. Then gave us some wet food tube treats to try, which he actually devoured. First thing the next morning they called and we learned his blood work was perfect and no other issues to his health, so apparently he is just a picky eater. We got a recommendation to mix wet food treats with his kibble which we will try. Dante will not eat any canned food but considering how much he loved the treats this might work.

Now to the critical side, our total bill was $452, which included almost $200 for an antibiotic and anti vomiting shot which I don't think was necessary. Considering our cat was not in an urgent situation I felt a little blindsided by such a bill. I wish there was more clarity about what they wanted to do, what the biggest concerns were, and what the costs would be. Rather, they simply told us what they would do and we went along with it, and received a fat bill at the end. Now, I will be very hesitant to bring a cat into the vet unless the situation is urgent, or I will have to be painstaking about asking what the charges will be. I suggest someone planning to take their pet in ask a lot of questions about what they will be doing and charging for to avoid being surprised like I was.

I've been bringing my chihuahua pomeranian here for 3 years. Inexpensive veterinarian. Doctor Hendon will tell you honestly if you need a specialist or if you can use a cheaper option. They love animals here. Marlin is an excellent technician who has earned the trust of my distrustful, nervous dog. Great people.

I just have to say that Marlin is truly an amazing vet tec! He works with my dog directly, who is very nervous at the vet, and he is always more than willing to answer any questions I have! Marlin took time out of his personal lunch to check on my dog when he was receiving an ultrasound and then ended up staying to be there for him. This is not the first time Marlin has gone above and beyond for my dog, and I am very thankful for his kind and caring nature!

Amber the receptionist is so sweet and truly displays excellent customer service. They had all the medications at hand, and they accept care credit if your bill is a bit over your out of pocket expenses. This is my first time to this location, and the doctor was very professional and knew where my cats issue was that I didn’t even know of. Gave me easy instructions on how to treatment should go, and demonstrated how to do it. My cat is 3 years old, will be coming back:)

So I want to shout out to all the wonderful vets, assistants and staff at Daniel’s Parkway Animal Hospital. We took Emma in for 2 appointments and the care we/she received was unbelievable. We are Canadians who brought our 15 year old cat ti FLorida for the winter for the first time. I’ve never in all my animal vet visits had such special care. Shout out to Amber, Gio, Dr. Sutton, Dr. Clements and Sharon. Forgive me if I’ve forgotten more names. I look forward to hanging my glass heart filled with her fur and hanging the newly painted heart with her paw prints on my Christmas tree here next year. Your sympathy card was received yesterday. The love just never stops. I highly recommend this vet to everyone who cares about their fur babies. Again from all of us and Emma we thank you for your loving care. I’ll never forget your kindness!
