Dash Rent a Car, Miami FL

This company is taking money from people.on the booking it was written $100 and nothing more will have to be paid.when we picked up the car, they said that $100 was just a reservation and they still had to pay $700+. The staff is rude.when we lost keys from the car, we asked for help, but they refused us and told us to figure it out ourselves. I do not advise anyone to take a car from this company.

I just returned the vehicle we rented for 15 days and all was so simple, great customer services, and exclentens rates for the car we got. We will definitely be using this company for our next trips.

This place is trash. People are super impolite. They wanted to charge me $900 on top of my reservation cost. The place is sketchy. Stay away if you don’t want a big headache

I called the office numerous times to inquire about a rental, and the representative, who said his name was Martin (not too sure how reliable that is), was not forthcoming and transparent about fees. I inquired about rates to compare and saw that rentals were cheaper through a third party. The seller informed me that even with a third-party seller, I would be charged additional rates per day plus taxes.

When I inquired further, the seller arbitrarily attempted to get off of the phone with me, claiming he had to speak with a customer who had just come up. This made no sense to me because I'M a customer, and I came first. However, I decided to call back later.

I called later and finally reached someone after many tries. I attempted to pick up where we left off, and the seller, Martin (if that's his real name), tried to deter further dialogue by speaking Spanish to me even though I was clearly speaking English. He attempted to pretend to not speak English until he realized that I wasn't buying it. I reminded him that we had just spoken earlier and that I still had questions. All of a sudden, he exclaims that he has no more cars for June and July (the period that I needed a car). I said ok, "How about May? " He then adjusted his statement, saying he has no cars for May, June, and July. I then said, "OK. Can I get a car for August? " He THEN modified his statement and said he had no cars for May, June, July, and August. Each time he modified his claim, he made no effort to confirm or check. Rather, it seemed like he was going to say there were no cars for any period that I needed a car.

The seller was, at this point, clearly not looking to sell to me, considering he attempted to pretend to not speak English, and then, claimed he had no reservations in the future and that the rental service will be out of business so there would be no way to rent to me. With that, he dismissed me and hung up the phone.

Seek rentals elsewhere. This is not a professional or reputable establishment. The experience was, to a certain degree, racist and discriminatory, and I'm glad that I did not waste my time. Please read their reviews.

BTW, the 3rd party service states that the amounts shown were the final daily rate and that taxes are excluded. Dash Rent a Car seems to lie to customers and force them to pay additional daily rates by claiming that the fees customers originally paid were holding fees. That is not true.

Anyone who were charged for additional fees outside of their original agreement can sue this company for damages and misrepresentation.

Great rental company. So easy to rent from and later extend rental. Clean new car. I will definately consider them in the future again.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Super shady! I booked through a third party (booking dot com) so my car was prepaid — my flight was delayed by about an hour. We collected our luggage and by the time we met their driver who took us to their off site rent a center it was not even 2 hours past our original time of agreed pick up. We pulled into some shady garage. Their “office” is in the back of an enclosed building. No other customers around, seemed sketchy and it was intimidating (I was alone, with my two children). The male representative was rude and right away told me that I was late for pick up and he wasn’t even sure he had a car for me (their inventory is not huge, so more red flags as I’m sure he was just setting up the scenario to intimidate me further). He then proceeds to tell me he’s going to do me “a favor” and rent me a car still — for $300+ (!) more than I already paid up front. I told him I already paid for the vehicle through the third party, I’m not giving him more, I’d go back to the airport and rent something else there. He said good luck finding something else. He wanted me to feel alone and isolated so he could coerce me into paying all the extra fees. I’ve rented many cars through third party, paid up front, and have never had an issue like this. I’m glad I stood my ground and did not allow him to bully me into paying unfair & exorbitant fees. As another reviewer said, they are dishonest and sneaky. I truly didn’t even feel safe there. Thankfully their driver took me & my children back to the airport and we were able to find a better rental solution with a reputable car hire.

Booked a car rental three weeks prior to trip. Called in to confirm trip as I didn’t get any notifications or email confirmations. Called the morning of the trip to let them know we will be there tonight. Our flight got delayed because no gate available for plane to check in and when we called them to let them know we are here, they said we canceled your reservation due to no show. We explained and they said sorry can’t help. I asked if we will be getting our money back and they said I don’t know.

Worst experience ever. Avoid getting car rent from this company. They used to have another name previosly, with same horrible service. Dash representative was trying to overcharge me for insurance and duble charge for thw amount I allredy paied through booking.

The worst rental car company I’ve ever used. They’re rude, unprofessional and disrespectful. They don’t accept my personal car insurance by no reason, only to charge extra money, and then they threatened me to cancel my reservation. Worst manager ever Carlos Calero likes to threaten customers.

Good rates but I had to call for a pick up literally 9 times times before someone answered and you can’t pick your car up early so I would of had to stay at airport for hour an half I just decided to get a different rental.

DASH has Excellent service, is friendly and efficient, and has an unbeatable quality/price ratio. We went with my wife, our young son, and our baby, and at all times, we received the help of the people who attended us. Without a doubt, I recommend Dash Rent a Car. Thank you very much again, Dash. I recently had the pleasure of renting a car from Dash Car Rental, and I must say that my experience was exceptional from start to finish. The entire process, from making the reservation online to returning the car at the end of my trip, was seamless and stress-free.

The staff at Dash Car Rental were friendly and professional, and they went out of their way to ensure that I was satisfied with my rental experience. The car I rented a Jeep Wrangler was in great condition and was equipped with all the features I needed for my trip. The rental rates were also very competitive, and I felt like I got a great value for my money.

When I returned the car at the end of my trip, the staff at Dash Car Rental were again friendly and helpful.

Overall, I would highly recommend Dash Car Rental to anyone looking for a rental car. Their exceptional customer service, competitive rates, and well-maintained vehicles made my trip a success. I will definitely be using their services again in the future!

Scam, rude staff. Tried to charge hundreds more dollar then the original price. Just walked away and went to florida rental instead down the street where they were nice and cheap. Avoid this place!

If it seems to be too good to be true, then. Insurance was never quoted and turned out to be five times the cost of the vehicle. Had to walk away.

Thank god I came to read the reviews I was wondering why it was cheap and now I see it’s to get you in the door and it doesn’t list the price of the insurance and I seen someone say 750. Then I seen the owner reply that the price you pay on booking isn’t the price for the car. Yeah back to the other rental because the price you see is the price you pay and they offer the price of their insurance on the website when booking.

THIS IS A SCAM! If I just can give less stars than one I would. This is the worst place to rent cars. And the best THEY ARE SOO RUDE. I went to a different place to rent my car. Way Better and Better price.
