I’m not exaggerating when I say this. Literally the best DMV I’ve ever been to. They are super friendly and welcoming. From the beginning Kris at the main counter showed exceptional customer service. The wait time was very short as well. When I was called up I was met with the most friendly agent. Overall my experience was relaxing and stress free.

I was lucky to be assisted by Kateleen and she went above and beyond to help me with my case.

The most xenophobic people, they treated me badly just by entering the establishment and they asked me what country I am from and what I am doing wasting time on their site, terrible xenophobic site to request an appointment in my 8 years living in Florida and the counties that The one I have been to in Lake County is the worst I have ever experienced.

All employees are so nice. It wasn't busy when I went so it was quick and quiet. Will definitely come to this one again.

Carmen was my instructor she was awesome, she will make sure you are very comfortable and ready.

If you are not a citizen you will have a hard time getting your driver’s license renewed.

Even thought we are paying taxes and we are living legally in the US.

Ok let's start. First, the system is a complete disaster. My license has expired for 3 months. There are no appointments. So what do I do when the police give me a ticket for something that is not my fault? If you have a green card, they attend to you instantly, this is not counting the fact that they also have the benefit of renewing online, and this is not counting the fact that they renew it every 5 or 10 years and we legal immigrants who pay the same taxes and want to do everything as they themselves wish, because we have absolutely no option but to make an appointment in a portal that does not allow it. Added to all this you go to the only two venues available for lake county which are tavares and clermont and there are 70% more seats than people waiting and an employee at each box office doing nothing many times. Gentlemen, driving without a license is a crime and harms our immigration processes. Whatever you are doing to try to harm us, we are the ones who are going to pay the consequences, this has to stop.

I took my drivers test earlier this month and the process could not have gone smoother. Before the test, we did not have to wait long at all and the entire system seemed very efficient. For the test itself, I was lucky to have Carmen as my instructor as she made sure I was comfortable and confident in my abilities, helping to calm my nerves and pass. Thank you:)

I'm writing this review to share my postive expirence I had when taking the driver's test. The examiner was such a sweet and outgoing woman and I felt all of my anxieties ease away. Thank you Carmen for making my experience of getting my license worth while. You truely made the experience so much better for me even when I believed that my nerves would be the best of me. Safe to say I passed thanks to her.:)

The quickest DMV experience I’ve had in my life. I was a walk in for a driver’s license name change and I was in and out in under 30 minutes!

This place is amazing. I’ve never been to a DMV/Tax Collector place that has friendly staff, is quick and organized like this location. I’m amazed by their operation. I don’t think I’ve spend more than 10mins here! Well done:)

Great public service building and even better public servants! I had three separate issues to address and I was in and out within an hour. That's unreal for a DMV in my opinion. The staff was super friendly and handled all my issues with care. I will be using this office for any needs I have in the future.

Moved to Clermont less than a year. The first time in this office I got impressed. New building, clean, well organized, and customer service superv. Today is my second time, and I came with happiness. Well done, Lake County! Thank you.

I have been trying to make an appointment for a drive license (non American citizen) and the website has nothing available for the next three months.
Orlando and Altamonte Springs dmv have an appointment for the next day, but I cant because I live in lake county
Something is wrong with this website and they do absolutely nothing to fix it.
It’s really frustrating and really disrespectful.

The staff is always friendly and professional. Service is top-notch, and you are in and out. Usually, there is no long waiting time depending on the time of day you arrive. I prefer around noon.
