Davie Pine Island Aquatic Center

My son had a fear of the pool after a kid pushed him in. No matter what we did at home, he wasn't getting over it. Something about him being comfortable with us let him just outright avoid it. We signed him up for swimming lessons and the instructors did great. They were patient and refused to give up. A combination of him not being overly-comfortable with them and their persistence really did the trick. Kid went from being terrified of the pool to all smiles.

Shawn is a fantastic swim instructor. He is really good at understanding everyone’s needs, and works patiently on them. Personally I improved so much after few lessons! I highly recommend.

Left the gym when the pandemic first started. Recently started back, Gina at the desk was so helpful and nice in getting us back and signed up. You can tell she really believes in customer service. Gym has all new equipment and is very nice.

Very friendly staff, clean facilities, lots of open lanes at 3pm on a Friday. Will be going back regularly

Must be a Davie resident to access. Nice clean large pool perfect for exercising. You can reserve a lane. This location also has 2 fitness centers with both free weights and exercise machines.

Im not sure what you are paying for? The "kiddy splash pool" looks like its been off for awhile. There is debris and yuck in it. Its just a large pool. No lounging under tents, no proper seating under the shade. Nothing. Why does it cost so much? It should be $1 or $2 at the most. We got a refund and went to Tamarac Aquatic Center.

What a neat little gem this place is! Gina at the desk was quite hospitable and I was pleasantly surprised by the facility's cleanliness.

Great place to bring your kids to learn swimming basic. Instructor coach Ham very good with the children.

The Olympic pool is fantastic. The best. If you go early on some days, you'll have it to yourself.

If you ever will have to deal with Coach John Leonard, don't waist your time with him.
Unprofessional, rude, creepy man.
I hope, he will be treated one day the same way how he treated my child and me today.

Great lap pool. The water is so refreshing and they are doing a good job with disinfecting after each group. You must make a reservation for a lane too.

The attendant at the service desk was phenomenal
She went out of her way to make us aware of all the amenities available at this beautiful facility.
